Manchester Airport (M56/J6) Runger Lane North hotel

I have stayed at both hotels at this site (North & South). The South is rated Premier and the North is rated Standard (cheaper price) and i think i prefer the north, i don't know why but i enjoyed my stay there more. the North hotel is newer, although when i stayed it seemed to be undergoing some modifications mainly to the outside/Cladding (i didn't find this to negatively effect my stay). i found my experience to be a fairly standard Premier Inn stay, everyone (staff) was as helpful as you would expect and the room was clean and the bed as comfortable as usual. i like the fact that the restaurant/bar is within the confines of the hotel itself and you don't have to walk across a carpark or go to the pub next door like you do at some Premier Inn sites. the setting of the hotel is ok given that its next to the M56 and opposite Manchester Airport Cargo Center and i didn't find it noisy at all. Manchester Airport is 5 mins in a Taxi/Uber and Central Manchester 20/30 mins depending on the time of day you go. I normally use this Premier Inn site for a w/end overnight stay and normally save £30 - £50 compared to a stay at a Premier Inn in central Manchester, although if you are in your car you will have to pay £14 for 24hrs parking.

The staff, and manager in particular have been brilliant help and very friendly. I made a mistake with one of my bookings , booking the hotel across the road for one of my employees by accident. The manager here managed to exchange the hotels and the meal deals over so we were in the correct one which couldn’t be done online. We will be working in Manchester for a while the next few months and will def be stopping here!

Stayed here as a family before a early flight out the next day. Easy location to get too. Was worried about the parking due to on going refurbishments but plenty of parking, nothing to worry about. Found the hotel pretty quiet and had a good nights sleep. Our son loved watching the planes land and take off from the window. Plenty of room for 4 people. 1 double bed and 2 singles. Collect ticket on way out from reception, no matter what time you depart and use the machine to pay. Would stay again if we fly out of Manchester Airport.

This is the second time I have stayed here, before a flight back to the US, it is relaxing and a great way to recharge my batteries before the flights & stop-overs.
