"No cleanliness or service at this hotel !"
We stayed in this hotel for three nights. After the first night, we discovered they hadn’t taken our dirty towels that were on the shower floor but, strangely, they had removed the bathmat, even though that could’ve been re-used. On our return to the room: went down to reception with the dirty towels and they gave us ‘clean’ ones. By now we’d discovered that you actually have to let reception know if you want your room cleaned. This is what we did. We asked if they would clean our room and she put our room number on the list. When we returned to our room in the afternoon, we saw that clean towels had been placed on one of the beds, the bed that they’d made; the other bed was left not made. They’d left the dirty towels on the floor in the shower. They’d only emptied one bin and had not cleaned the shower, toilet or vacuumed the room. Went down to reception with the dirty towels but the man there had an ”it’s not my fault” attitude, it was housekeeping’s fault. Even asked him if he was a temp! No, he was a regular staff member. So, told him to let housekeeping know that they should do a proper job! After all, this is about hygiene, but that is something they’ve never heard of in this hotel. The towels had a smoky, cooking smell and didn’t smell like they’d been washed at all … The man at reception did not come across as someone who is familiar with customer service! Unhelpful staff at reception, shifting responsibility to other staff. And we haven't even mentioned the state of the furniture in the breakfast room and in the lobby ... (see attached). The only plus in this hotel was the breakfast team who wére customer friendly and they did a great job.
"Premier Inn......not premier at all....."
No service, room supplies not replenished or even correctly stocked in first place. No longer reasonably priced. Have to go to reception for anything....towels, coffee etc.
"Overnight stay in London"
Hotel near to the station, good clean rooms, breakfast available at extra cost rather expensive for what it was. Automated check in system not working so long queue.
"Ideal location for stay in central london"
Excellent location for Eurostar platform. Hotel gave efficient check in. Room very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast excellent with good choice. Fast check out too.
"One night stay"
The smell in the room is off putting- it’s like they are trying to mask the smell of smoke or that it is trapped in the carpet fibers. The bathroom is cramped and has single leaf toilet paper that you remove from a dispenser one at a time like a public toilet- not what I would expect from a £200 a night stay. The location was the main pull. The foyer is nice.
