"Very convenient location"
Very convenient - just turn left out of King's Cross station into York Way, a minute or two and you're there. Bright comfortable reception - reassuringly always staffed when we checked in and also in the early hours of the morning. We stayed in a premier plus room on the 3rd floor - very quiet, clean, air conditioned - excellent sleep. Coal Drop Yard - the Lightroom - canal etc just down the road. Quite expensive but would use again.
"Tiny premium plus room"
333 was tiny being unable to open suitcase on floor with no soundproofing from outside noise and being told all premium plus rooms were the same when they were not. Breakfast food ingredients poor quality and poorly cooked.
"Beware of noise from air-conditioning units"
I paid £250 for a night here, unfortunately we were disturbed by the noise of the air-conditioning units outside the window. Therefore avoid rooms 132, 133, 232 and 233. The automated check-ins machine didn’t work for us either.
"Dark cramped twin room"
Staff at receptionist could have been a bit more friendly on arrival. The twin room was dark and cramped. No minifridge and stupid that only plus rooms offer this. No safe either in the room. In this day and age most hotels offer these two basic amenities, so disappointed this room didn’t have them. The breakfast was very good, but for the high nightly price we paid, to have it included in our stay would have been a bonus. We stayed three nights, but would only stay there again if it was for one night, based on my reasons above. The location was good for quick easy access for the Eurostar.
"Lovely hotel and a good night's sleep."
Stayed here for one night prior to departing from St Pancras International early in the morning; it is not the nearest to St Pancras but we shall use it again because it is the newest and best of several local Premier Inns. Usual comfortable room and really good bed, good service and all the feel of a traditional hotel with an atrium lounge. Did not have the chance to sample breakfast, but it all looked very good. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for the nearest London gets to good value.
