"Very Good Premier Inn"
Stayed here for six nights in August 2025, not to fly from Heathrow, but as an alternative to staying in central London. Don’t normally review, but this hotel deserves it. This was certainly the best Premier Inn that I have ever stayed in, and many hotels, including a lot of Premier Inns could take a leaf out of their book. All areas of the hotel were run like clockwork, including check in, housekeeping, maintenance, and the restaurant / bar, all of which I encountered during my six-night stay. Any issues were dealt with immediately, without needing to wait, despite the hotel being very busy all of the time (and in peak season). All of the staff here deserve recognition, as this hotel stood out as being particularly well run. I had the breakfast every day, and considering how busy it was, was very efficient, with no waiting for a table, food, etc. I also had a meal in the restaurant in the evening a few times, which was a more relaxed affair than the breakfast, and I was very impressed by both the service and the food. The food was reasonably priced for an airport hotel, and you could tell that it was cooked fresh, with what seemed like good quality ingredients, all of which I was not expecting. I would recommend the mixed grill and the calamari. I did not have the meal deal (be aware that they will try to upsell this if you haven’t prepaid for it). Deepti was my server on one occasion, and made a special effort to introduce herself, and was very attentive, so will give her a mention! I had a ‘Premier Plus’ room (all of which are all on the top floor), and a room with a view which was extra. This was worth every £ for the additional comfort, space, amenities, etc. There was a view of the airport apron, terminals, and runway, with big jets taxiing, taking off and landing right outside the window – great for those with an interest in aviation, or just for something different! I asked for the room to be cleaned/refreshed twice, which it was, with clean towels, etc. Transport to central London was fine, depending on where you wanted to go, but often involved some changing on the tube (Ealing Broadway, Acton Town, for the main Lonon touristy bit), but this was not an issue and to be expected. Elizabeth line is the best – from the station at T4, head to the lifts to the 2nd floor in T4 (departures), and the walkway to the hotels is directly on the right. Picadilly line takes longer, and involves a five-minute walk through T4 departures to reach the underground station. Heathrow Express is much quicker, but a lot more expensive. Whichever way you go, before you start your tube journey to London, also factor in your walk through the hotel walkway, through T4, lifts, stairs, etc to the stations, as it takes longer than you think. TIP if you are going to Terminal 5. Go out the back of the hotel through the car park entrance (ground floor), and catch the bus (482 or 490). The bus stop is a minute walk just up the road to the right, and coming back the bus stop is over the road. They are more or less 24 hours a day (except for a few hours in the middle of the night), and the journey takes about 10 minutes. This would also be fine to do even if you had suitcases, as the buses are not busy and there is plenty of room on them. It would be a lot less stressful that the tube. If you have read all of this, well done! I think I would stay here again, regardless of which terminal I was flying from at Heathrow.
"Not as good as it used to be."
The location is good albeit a good 5 minute walk from T4, the prices very good, but the hotel is getting a bit worn. Check in is via machines & not before 1500, I idid ask but was told to wait. On entering the room the sink was blocked & it took a call & a visit to reception to get it fixed. Don't know why housekeeping never flagged it. Breakfasts are good value. The internet is completely useless - it wouldn't load pages or e-mails 95+% of the time. I have stayed there maybe 10x before, since it 1st opened, but doubt I'll return.
"Recommended"
Easy 10 minutes walk from terminal 4 via a covered walkway. Good choice of food at the restaurant both in the evening and at breakfast.
"Room With a Runway View and First Class Service!"
My son is an aeroplane enthusiast so we booked this hotel as it overlooked the runway. We got exactly what we asked for - our son loved it!! The hotel bedroom was clean and well presented. All the staff were professional and helpful. In particular I’d like to mention Valeriano and Keagan who were servers in the restaurant. Both were very polite courteous and attentive. Both did all they could to make sure we had everything that we needed.
"Outstanding service every time"
We use the Premier Inn T4 every year for many reasons. It is friendly, staff are amazing, very accommodating. It is attached to T4 through a covered walkway. There is a Costa, bar, and restaurant. Food is good, service great. We need a family room which varies from £57-68 per night which is a bargain; always clean and tidy. We have been here four times this summer with our travels; and would like to thank Josh for his personal care and time with our experience. Hope to see the hotel soon!
