Clacton-on-Sea (North/Colchester Road) hotel

Nice little hotel 2 downsides rooms way too hot and a problem with mosquitos not the hotel fault maybe use nets for windows staff helpful and polite the resturant next door to the hotel does nice food and is quite cheap went over Halloween my daughter and her friend got a nice little treat bag from reception

Excellent reception service. Breakfast good quality and value.

Get what you pay for. No breakfast (told at check in), pub next door not all that, staff friendly enough, decent sleep, just basic premier inn.

No premier in breakfast. Step ladder needed to get into bed. No lift, grubby alround. No notifcation that there wasn' a premier inn breakfast until check in.

This is the worst premier inn I’ve ever stayed in! Arrived at hotel and waited 10mins for someone to come to reception. Was then informed that the breakfast room was unavailable but pastries would be available in reception! No thank you!! Got to room via the stairs as there is no lift! Not great for someone with heavy luggage and a bad back! Whilst the room itself was clean and tidy! No USB ports anywhere in the room and not a single plug socket next to the bed, so when the alarm goes off no snooze, just up to turn off alarm! The walls are so thin I could hear my neighbour whistling. As for something to eat, the restaurant next door is permanently closed so it’s either McDs over the road or a drive somewhere else. Very very disappointing, would never visit this Premier Inn again!
