    "Whole hotel needs refurbishing"
Sorry to say this Premier Inn is the worst I’ve stayed in. The rooms are old, tired and grubby. The corridors are the same with a stale musty smell. The entrance is discussing as are the lifts. When you walk in you are certainly not inspire. They still charge top dollar though. Although the dining area was ok. Avoid this Premier inn if possible
"Took my boys for breakfast again"
I took my boys for breakfast today. Had a great breakfast and with the kids eat free what a bargain! Debbie greeted me and was very friendly and even offered to heat up my youngest son’s pancakes.
    "Oli is an asset"
Arrived and our room was not quite ready at the check in time, but Oli looked after us and gave us a complimentary drink and added breakfast to our stay. Nice clean room and fairly quiet considering its the city centre, would definitely start again
    "Fire alarms going off"
Fire alarms at 1.30 and 6.30am some idiots smoking in room. Only two night staff on duty one didn’t speak any English.. Few people headed the alarms as they are being tripped so often .didnt get any sleep but unable to obtain refund as small print doesn’t cover alarms going off. Something needs to be done. Iza real fire happens staff are clueless and you’ll be trapped in your room. We were on 6th floor. Insist on a lower floor when booking.

Great location as very central, room was perfectly okay as well. However, check in was not good as on first attempt there was nobody to be seen in the reception area and lot's of people sitting around waiting to check. Fortunately, we were able to go out for a while and come back later and thankfully there was a member of staff checking people in but it was very slow and and there was quite a queue. The member of staff who dealt with us was doing his best in a busy situation. On getting to our room, the key did work which meant another trip to reception but once in the room everything seemed clean etc. The only other issue was that the hairdryer did not when used the following morning which was an issue as we were there for a graduation. I made my way to reception again and was told that maintenance would pop up. However, when they did arrive it was over 2 hours later and too late as hair was dry!! There was work going on in reception and I'm assuming the staff were under extra pressure with that as they were all trying their best in difficult circumstances.
