    "Stuffy. Loud. Poor night’s sleep. Avoid."
    We stayed for a friend’s daughter’s christening nearby. Good points: 1.Seemed reasonably clean apart from fan - see below. 2.Shower was ok. Reason for 2/5 rating: 1. I did know there was no air con before we arrived. However it was incredibly warm in the rooms - oddly it was way hotter inside than outside. It wasn’t even a particularly warm day/evening - maybe 21 during day max and not that sunny. We needed the windows open and so woken by heavy traffic and lorries 5am onwards so terrible night’s sleep. 2. Small fan provided was filthy so unusable from a hygiene perspective. 3. Sink was extremely slow draining so seemed like drains were clogged giving impression of poorly maintained pipes and plumbing. Overall very poor value for the cost.
    "Friendly staff but room was noisy."
    I was a bit worried about staying here having read previous reviews however it seems like there has been some staffing changes as the staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. We had the same issue as others though that they didn't answer the phone as we had tried to book the restaurant before we had arrived but couldn't get through. The lady on reception was able to sort this though and was apologetic explaining that they are sorting the rooms during the day so no one is around to answer the phone as they are short staffed. The food in the restaurant was fine and good value as the kids meals were free. The hotel is very convenient for the ferry just a 5 minute drive. There main problem we had was the room was quite noisy as it was near the road. For that reason I wouldn't rush to stay here again but I think we may have just been unlucky.
    "Not bad for the price"
    Overall stay was fine. Hotel could do with a lick of paint Disappointed in the restaurant, Food was good but service was terrible. We had to ask for drinks. It improved once Jo, the more experienced waitress took over looking after our table.
    "No Answer"
    Don't even bother with this place, they can't even pick up the phone at reception. Been trying to call for over 2 hours. It's a joke.

    The rooms were neat and the staff was really co operative. Our request for inter connected rooms was fulfilled as well. Breakfast was great and the lady at breakfast was very friendly and co operative. Served us really well. The only downside was that the rooms were do hot without the air conditioning that we couldn't sleep all night. The fan provided were like toys and didn't give any air. It was very stuffy anf suffocating.
