Christchurch West hotel

We were on the 'Premier + ' floor but our room wasn't. Having said this, it was adequate and appropriate for the money and our three night stay. The lack of fridge ment the milk went off, the G&T was warm and the Pinot was not chilled. It was suprising it wasn't included as standard as usual. The free drink from the next door was welcome and the staff were delightful. The whole place could do with a thorough clean and significant refurbishment.

Good location with easy walk to Christchurch high street and car drive to Bournemouth and Poole. The room is advertised as floor one Premier Plus rooms but the room was very tired with stains on the carpet and bedding and there was no mini fridge as per Premier Inns advert. Sadly we also had a lot of noise from a guest above us walking around their room from 04:35am. I would not recommend this hotel.

Location is not scenic, but is very convenient for Christchurch or any of the coastal resorts. Free parking if you provide your plate number. Room was spacious and quiet, with a good temperature. (There is air conditioning.) Great staff, who were always friendly, attentive and professional. Food was very good. I recommend getting the value Meal Deal. Overall, an excellent Premier Inn. I shall go back there.

We stayed at the Bailey Inn Premier Inn for a couple of nights while visiting family. After a very long journey, we were welcomed by the hotel staff and given complimentary drink vouchers for the pub/restaurant next door, which was a nice gesture. After unpacking, we went next door for a drink. The barmaid was sitting on a stool behind the bar and immediately made us feel as though we were disturbing her. We ordered a couple of drinks and were asked whether we had booked a table for dinner. She told us it was “super busy” and that we wouldn’t get any food if we didn’t book. At the time, it was only around 3:30pm and the place was completely empty. About 20 minutes later, I went back to the bar and asked to make a booking. The barmaid abruptly told me they were now fully booked. I politely pointed out that nobody had arrived and there hadn’t been a single phone call since we’d come in. Her attitude throughout was unhelpful and dismissive. The reason we wanted to eat there was because family members we hadn’t seen for a long time were meeting us later. However, when we returned several hours later, the restaurant was still nearly empty, apart from our group and a table of around 12 people. It was difficult to understand how they could have been “fully booked”. Unfortunately, the impression we were left with was that the barmaid simply couldn’t be bothered and didn’t want the extra work. This is disappointing because the Premier Inn staff themselves were excellent—friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay. I would happily recommend the hotel, but I cannot recommend the pub/restaurant next door based on our experience. The service was poor, the attitude was disappointing, and management should be aware that this reflects badly on an otherwise enjoyable stay. Hotel: Recommended hence why I’ve gone half & half with my stars.. Pub/Restaurant: Avoid.

Great couple of nights stay at this hotel. Very clean! Sharney was so friendly and welcoming! Ideal location for Christchurch, 10 min walk away from town centre. Will definitely use this hotel again on a visit to Christchurch.
