Thanks for rescuing us at the last minute when we were let down on a reservation elsewhere. You can always rely on Premier Inn to give you a friendly service, nice room, and a big comfy bed!

A lovely location with excellent options for venturing out on foot or by car. Room was great apart from a self closing door next to the lift on the 2nd floor that banged heavily as it closed. Staff are just great and friendly. Very comfortable room. Not sure the breakfast next door was worth the bother. Poor quality cooked breakfast - continental was lovely.

location is excellent , rooms clean and tidy , good value , room bed comfy. Quiet and great setting , always easy to park and staff helpful

We stayed for two nights for our 60th wedding anniversary. We have stayed before so knew it well. The staff gave us a great welcome at reception as they had been pre warned by my daughter that it was an anniversary visit and a box of chocolates in the room. A really nice gesture which we appreciated.

The Premier Inn is very tired but clean with helpful reception staff. It is a cash cow which desperately needs investment in the property and in particular the rooms. Incredibly the carpark requires payment of £3 per night! However it's main asset is particularly neglected. The Globe Inn; good Premier Inn breakfast and dinner menu served by excellent staff in a clean but worn out, in some areas 'grotty' premises. this is a disgrace for Whitbread in a property which was busy on very one of the six nights we stayed. The staff seemed particularly unsupported by HQ and understaffed and left to rely on colleagues coming in from rest days to support, really PI you can do better! Daniel was brilliant with an elderly man on the next table with dementia, very caring young man. Jane came in to rescue a very busy night which was severely understaffed. Also Elisha was exceptional in supporting her colleagues and giving exceptional customer care in difficult circumstances. Other staff who i don't know their names also pitched in for breakfasts and dinners often finishing late and returning for breakfast, Honestly i don't think these people are treated properly by Whitbread and as a regular customer over 20+ years of business and personal I'm disappointed and would be happy to provide more information to Whitbread management (if they are interested of course).
