"Hot, uncomfortable, unbearable and poor standards hotel. Over priced!"
This is a hotel that befits a huge cost, but provides very poor standards, our room was beyond heated, you could not sleep as it was just uncomfortable and even after a cold shower, the windows only open an inch so no air can circulate, added to electrical tripping in the room and no concern for this continously happening, poor cleanliness and restaurant staff who do not understand customer etiquette, we would not recommend staying here unless they have a cheap night for under £20 it deserves no more!

"Avoid in weather above 20 degrees. Dangerously hot rooms!!"
We left yesterday. Stayed for 2 nights arrived to a room of 30 degrees up to 31 degrees at night. The temperature outside was not this hot and dropped to the teens overnight. The room stayed at 30.5 all the time we were there with a fan in there. Couldn’t open the windows apart from a couple of inches. We couldn’t sleep and I felt it was a danger to the guests at that temperature with no way of cooling down. We use premier inns quite often but would never use one again in the summer now because of this experience.

"Not happy with the walking distance to the room"
Yet again my allocated room was on the first floor as far away along the corridors as one can get. There is no lift at this hotel and the distance from reception to the room when carrying several bags was quite difficult. The room was dark even during the day so lights needed to be on but the bedside light was too dim to be able to read comfortably. It seems impossible to get a room closer to reception at whichever Premier Inn is booked and whether the reservation is make near to or some weeks away from the intended stay. This has put me off staying in a Premier Inn again.

"Do not stay at this hotel if its hot weather!"
On arrival, using the self check in was easy. Picked our key up and made our way to our room. On opening the door, we were hit with a pelt of heat. (Bear in mind, that our visit was in the midst of a heatwave.) There was a fan in our room, but all it was doing was blowing hot air around. The window was open. But due to safety regs, it can only be opened 2 inches, and let in no breeze at all during our stay. We had a very early start the following morning, so tried to get our heads down by 10pm. Both myself and my daughter were still wide awake at midnight, the heat was unbearable. I visited reception and asked if there was another fan available. The lovely gentleman did bring another fan to our room which we were extremely grateful for!
I love a Premier Inn. But on this occasion, in the height of summer, I advise you all to not even contemplate staying at the Christchurch East one. I know that weather cant be controlled, and ultimately, its not the hotels fault we hardly slept. But be warned, this 1 gets ridiculously hot!!!!!!

"Very hot room"
The room was unbearably hot, even with x2 fans already running in the room on arrival. The provided fans did nothing but move the hot air around faster. Couldn't do any work in my room and couldn't sleep. Please install/fix the A/C. Even heard a couple stating to another person that they would be sleeping in their car as the room was just too hot. Check the weather forecast and if it's going to be warm/hot during your stay, try elsewhere
