"Third visit but sadly the last."
This was the third time we have stayed here over the last few years and have to say we were very disappointed this time. We arrived just after 11am and paid £15 to check in early. The room which was ready for occupation was number 30 ground floor right beside the entrance from the car park. Convenient but the window had to remain open for some air....consequently rather noisy with people coming and going. This rear entrance to the hotel was awful, grubby, paintwork peeling, leaves and twigs strewn in doorway. A half drunk bottle of cola was lying on the ground as we arrived, it was still there when we left four days later. The door mat inside heaven knows when that was last vacuumed. The room was clean, bathroom likewise. Bed comfortable and linens clean and white. We don't like or use air con unless desperate as we always travel with our own fan and pillows. However there was a new fan in the room the like of which we have not seen before, we were so impressed with it we bought one for ourselves as soon as we arrived home. We do always try to book a premium room but this hotel doesn't have that option as we like a walk in shower being seniors but not yet ready for accessible facilities. We love location of this hotel and the very good parking, the surroundings of the car park have gone downhill, the pic nic benches that were there have vanished. the area is messy, broken metal sign post lying drunkenly against a wall, broken tree branches on the grass, found one across our car one morning after a rainy night. A tatty old disused asbestos garage that needs demolishing and a side window? boarded up with tatty disintegrating plywood sheet. The whole hotel needs sprucing up or at the very least someone to manage the place thinking of guests needs and first impressions. We have booked to go back to Christchurch next year but will be staying at Premier Inn West. A pity really as we did like the hotel on previous two visits.
      "Great place!"
Spent 3 nights here, and I have to say that we had a lovely time. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The bed & pillows were clean and comfortable, as was the room & bathroom. However, there were a few little things that were not to our expectation or the usual standard of Premier Inn. 1 - the top of the headboard was full of dust. 2 - the bedside lights. Dusty with cobwebs. The above wasn't a major problem, I cleaned them down with wet wipes. 3 - no plug sockets next to the bed. It looked like there had been sockets there originally, but they had been covered over with a plain socket box. Bit of a nuisance but not a deal breaker. Overall, this wouldn't stop us from going there again. The location is ideal to go to all the little town & villages and explore. And again, as already said, all the staff were amazing.
"Great for sleep after late night flight into Bournemouth."
Easy and very friendly check in despite being 2am. Beds really comfy. Even the sofa bed was for my son. All staff were super friendly and efficient. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Perfect location only 15 minutes from airport after late flight. No USB chargers available which was a bit inconvenient. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
      "Extremely well located Premier Inn."
Stayed 8 nights to enjoy the local area, this hotel is ideally located to access local beaches and places of interest, there is ample free parking and is on a local bus route with a stop right outside. We felt that the hotel feels a bit tired and is probably not far from needing refurbishment. Having said that the beds are comfy as you’d expect in a Premier Inn, and it is very quiet at night so you can get a decent nights sleep. The Beefeater next door provides reasonably priced meals including the standard Premier Inn breakfast. We enjoyed some excellent evening meals including there. The local area has lots of eating choices in walking distance including Mac Donald’s and KFC, and there is a very good local chippy where you can eat in if you want to, there are local pubs and a Toby Carvery, plus Chinese and Indian eateries - so something for everyone.
      "Good stay"
Lovely stay. Staff kind and helpful. Room clean and tidy. Great location for me. Overall stay was as you’d expect. I stay in a lot of PI for work and I have to say the stuff at this site were much more engaging and positive than at another’s I have stayed. Thank you.
