"Try another hotel"
They may have been under staffed and overworked but don't complain about it to the guests. I found them rude and unapproachable. The AC was broken as well as a fan and the tv. There was a heatwave and I've never dreaded going back to a hotel as much as this one. We had to sleep with the curtains open to let air in. I've never had a bad experience with Premier Inn hotels but I won't be returning to this one. The only good thing about it was it was close to the beach and town centre and a good car park that was cheaper than all others for 24 hours on Hinton Rd. I avoided the staff for the whole visit.
"Miguel saved our holiday"
This hotel is in the perfect location for access to the seafront and city centre. About 5 minutes walk for both. The reception area, bars and restaurant were clean and well kept. The breakfast is good value for money especially with children. However, the star of the holiday was the manager Miguel! We initially had an issue with our room and as soon as we brought this to his attention he did his very best to resolve it. He managed to resolve it by the afternoon and made the holiday for us! He clearly is very good at what he does and cares for the hotel guests. If only all hotels has staff like him!
"Miguel Made Our Bournemouth Stay Effortless"
Checked into Premier Inn Bournemouth Central and was immediately greeted by Miguel—the kind of receptionist who makes you wonder if he’s secretly running the whole city. He not only checked me in with a smile that could disarm a parking warden, but also gave me a masterclass in Bournemouth navigation. He explained exactly where to park without making me feel like I was about to enter an Olympic hill-climbing event, and somehow made walking directions to the Pier, Gardens, and town centre sound like the start of an adventure. Honestly, I half-expected him to hand me a treasure map. If every receptionist were as friendly, professional, and sneakily funny as Miguel, hotels could probably get away with charging for the “Miguel Experience” as an extra. Premier Inn, hang on to him—he’s your secret weapon.
"Excellent stay, staff are fantastic."
We have had a wonderful stay at this hotel, the rooms are excellent, large, very comfortable bedding and the views are exceptional. We had a problem with the first room we stayed in but Miguel was extremely helpful, despite it being extremely busy, he went out of his way to help us and manged to swap our room which is not an easy task in peak season when there are huge queues at Reception. Miguel has exceptional customer service skills, he makes all guests feel valued and welcome, he makes effort to make kids laugh and is very professional. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we are annual visitors and will return again next year. I also noticed this year that they have a security guard at the entrance to the hotel which has really helped, it makes families feel safe l.
"Sizzling hot"
A central hotel, it was a very slow check in. A very nice room and bathroom on a high floor. The room was sizzling hot in a heatwave. The aircon didn't work, apparently it hasn't worked for years. Probably won't return not in the Summer anyway.
