"Beautiful hotel and amazing sea view, but parking and safety issues"
The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful and looked like a luxury hotel. Our room was very spacious, spotless, and comfortable, with a couch inside which made it feel even more relaxing. The sea front view was amazing, and the location is very close to the beach. The balcony was also beautiful, although unfortunately it was locked so we could not use it.
The main downside was the parking situation. There is no parking available at the hotel, and the road outside is extremely busy and one-way, making it very stressful. The parking bays were always full, and we had to keep driving around for almost 30 minutes before finally parking about 20 minutes away from the hotel.
Another issue was the lack of proper air conditioning. The room only had two fans, which was not enough during the hot weather. Proper air conditioning would make a huge difference.
We were also uncomfortable with the area directly outside the hotel entrance, where there were many drunk, rough, and addicted people around, especially at night, which felt unsafe.
Overall, the hotel and room were excellent, but the parking, cooling, and outside environment need improvement.

"Excellent hotel"
We rented a room with a beautiful sea view. Everything was wonderful: spacious room, comfortable bed, everything was clean and cozy. Thank you, we'll be back!

"Great Stay"
Lacy on reception has to be one of the loveliest members of staff I've ever encountered and I've stayed in this one and others many times 10 out of 10! Hotel seemed to be short staffed at breakfast with the only female member of staff being a bit short with us after we seated ourselves due to waiting so long to be seated.

"Find somewhere else"
This is without question the worst Premier Inn I’ve stayed in—and I’m writing this before I’ve even managed to get a decent night’s sleep.
The location is deeply uncomfortable. The hotel sits between a homeless shelter and a casino, with people frequently gathered outside smoking and leering at passers-by. As a guest, I did not feel safe being outside after dark, which is completely unacceptable when staying away from home.
Noise is another major issue. The road outside might as well be a racetrack—motorbikes revving constantly—and the windows do little to block any of it out. Inside the hotel, it’s not much better, with doors slamming throughout the corridors at all hours.
Cleanliness and general upkeep are well below what I expect from Premier Inn. The corridors have an unpleasant smell, and the bed linen had a distinct “wet dog” odour—hardly the “good night’s sleep” the brand promises. The décor throughout is tired and in serious need of updating.
Service was inconsistent at best. At the bar, I was left waiting while the bartender simply walked away, eventually being served after several minutes. In the restaurant, we were refused the ability to join a friend at their booked table (taking it from two to three people), only to then see another guest—without a booking—seated without issue. Staff repeatedly said they were “just following the manager’s instructions,” which doesn’t inspire confidence.
When I spoke to the manager directly, the interaction was dismissive and unhelpful. He was unwilling to engage in a meaningful conversation and continued to address me as “ma’am” despite being asked not to, which felt patronising rather than professional.
Accessibility is also poor, with multiple sets of steps from street to entrance, then further steps to reach lifts and along corridors—something worth noting for anyone with mobility concerns.
The overnight experience only reinforced my disappointment. The room was unbearably hot, but opening the window wasn’t an option due to the constant street noise outside. Even with the window closed, I needed earplugs and music playing just to block out the traffic and motorbikes. The blackout curtains are ineffective, with bright lights from the car park and nearby pavilion shining into the room throughout the night, meaning an eye mask was also essential.
To top it all off, the television switched itself on around midnight/1am at high volume playing a David Attenborough documentary, which was a genuinely ridiculous thing to happen in the middle of an already poor night’s sleep.
The only real positive I can mention is that the shower was hot. Also, guests can collect extra tea and coffee supplies from reception—which is fortunate, as only two teabags were provided in a family room.
Overall, this stay has been uncomfortable, frustrating, and disappointing. I would not return and would strongly advise others to consider alternative accommodation in Bournemouth.
