Bournemouth Central hotel

Hotel was dirty outside, homeless people begging for money which instantly put me on edge. The wifi kept logging off, people slamming doors at 3am which literally shakes the entire room. Shower only had one temperature which was scolding hot, handle couldn’t be moved. The door to the room didn’t lock unless you leaned yourself against the door to apply pressure. The shower constantly dripped, causing me to stay awake all night. The headboard was damaged and dirty. The bedding had stains on it. The chair next to the bed had stains on it. The footstool was peeling away and was dirty. The shower/bathroom had tiles that were falling off and were absolutely filthy. The lamp on the table didn’t work as the button had broken off. Went downstairs 3 times to report it to reception and no one was ever there.

Miguel and a lovely young girl on reception whose name I didn’t catch ( she started 2 weeks) were so helpful during our stay, really lovely and great humour. Room was immaculate and a lovely sea view.

What a lovely stay with great friends. Good location to the centre to get food and for us to head to the beach. Rooms were clean and practical. Few areas need updating. The hotel manager Miguel was super helpful, friendly and funny! Would stay again

Clean hotel with comfortable beds and a good size bathroom. Prior to my arrival I received a note from the hotel that air conditioning isn’t working. The staff in the front desk also mentioned that it has been a problem for a while. However, to my pleasant surprise the air conditioning was working in my room which was a big relief (I was staying there in August in the middle of a heatwave), but I am not sure if that was the case in all rooms and if other guests were as lucky. The staff are very friendly, but I do think that the front desk could do with another staff member to help the queues move quicker.

I usually love a premier but this was the worst I have ever stayed in. The hotel is dirty, rubbish in lift all day and on corridor floor. No air con in rooms, hard bed, massive brown stain on sheet, no duvet on sons bed, reception did not believe me so came up to show me that I was wrong and then saw that I was not making it up and had to make up a duvet when my son should have been sleeping. Neither my husband or I got any sleep on the first night and barely any on the second as we were so uncomfortable. The sound kept cutting out on the telly so my son couldnt watch his cartoons. Marks all over the walls. The hotel is very run down. The breakfast was the worst premier breakfast I have ever had, will not prepay in the future If I stay in another premier. It was dry and cold, the bacon actually looked off. Other people were also complaining. It really ruined our time away, and it was next to the ymca with druggies and drunks on the doorstep. No sea view, just the pavillion where I witnessed a women shoot up in the gardens from the (dirty) window. I actually have another booking that I made here before ever staying for work, and I would like to be released from this booking so that I can stay at a different premier as the thought of staying here again fills me with dread. Awful stay, awful experience, awful hotel
