Exmouth Seafront hotel

Stayed one night here on a Monday night. We chose this hotel as it was seafront & central. We were warned that there were works going on, & as such this would either partially or fully obstruct any seafront rooms. We knew this & booked anyway. This info was reiterated via email post booking Our room (123) on the first floor at the rear of the hotel was fine. The usual super comfy bed, effective air con & good walk in shower. Lovely clean white bedding & fluffy towels. We opted for breakfast. The usual hot buffet wasn’t on (maybe due to the hotel being nearly empty?) But the friendly waitress took our hot food order instead, & was cooked to order for us by the lovely young cook. We could choose how many sausages, bacon rashers etc. The help yourself continental section was lovely & fresh & included fresh fruit and berry compote. Overall very happy, would stay again. Maybe when the works had finished & with a sea view room

Booked a premier plus room a year ago for an event. Emailed the hotel two weeks before to enquire if our room would be affected by the scaffolding covering the building. Received no reply. Chased a reply which stated ‘your view will not be blocked’. Arrived and paid for plus room - were handed keys to room 121. Opened the door - standard room. Went back down to reception to be told there are no prem plus rooms!? I questioned why I had been charged for one less than ten minutes before to be told I would receive the difference on checkout. Only had one towel in the room and the shower had hairs in it. The floor was dirty in the bathroom and the toilet smelled. On checkout I asked for a refund, to be told by a woman, I would receive the refund after I checked out. I put the door keys in the box and said I had checked out to then be told head office would automatically issue a refund. I have sent two emails to the hotel directly which have not been answered and emailed head office too. No replies and no refund. Honestly if you have this hotel booked, find somewhere else. The staff (apart from the lady who brought us the towel and some coffee sachets and was lovely) were borderline rude and looked as though they couldn’t care less. No atmosphere, no prem plus rooms, no view and no refund!

We were greeted by Ellie and Abi 3 evenings in a row this week, they always put right any issues we have and they always at the door to greet and say bye in a welcoming manner. Food is top top notch and always cater to our needs! Great members of staff! A compliment to team. Ellie always makes us the perfect brew at the end of our meal! The service is always the reason we return.

We have been coming to premier Inn Exmouth for a long time .We come in at least 4times a week food is good & we ..usually get served by Abi & Elle they are both excellent at their job very polite & always make sure we get exactly what we want always welcomes us. Wendy Wannell. Happy customer.

Thank you Nyree and Tracy for such a great breakfast experience. My daughter has Ceoliac and they took the trouble to cook everything seperately for her to avoid cross contamination. I recommend to everyone with Ceoliac. Nyree remained friendly and calm despite being rushed off her feet and Tracy finished off the whole lovely experience with kindness and warmth. With many thanks
