"The perfect visit."
My wife and I stayed here last year and this year, it was a pleasant stay, lovely black out curtains and an amazingly soft relaxing bed, we stay here a day before our holiday is to start in Newquay. The staff were very polite and friendly and had great communication, they were happy to help with anything we needed. We will definitely be coming back here again next year. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, will highly recommend you to others to come here to stay.

"Low standard hotel"
Stayed for 3 nights. I the bathroom the toilet was dirty and not cleaned properly. The soap dispenser was rusty. The default cleaning regime was nil and as a customer you had to request cleaning, towel change and bed linen change. The company may expouse environmental issues, but let's be realistic, it's money saving. The default regime should be full clean and if the customers wish to be environmentally responsible, then they can request no service.
The room was far too hot with no way to cool it down. I was advised to open the window, but with roads (one very busy) on either side of the hotel, the noise would also have meant no sleep!
The hotel needs updating as it is looking jaded and not particularly clean.
This particular Premier Inn was not up to the standard of others I have stayed in.

"One of the dirtiest hotels I’ve stayed in. MOULD MOULD MOULD & filthy linen."
Mould spores, dirty sheets and accused of lying. We stayed at this premier inn as a stop over on our way to Cornwall based on previously sound experiences of Premier Inns. They have always been clean and quiet, exactly what I’d want from a hotel. This one however is one of the dirtiest hotels I have stayed in and there are visible mould spores throughout the room and stains on the duvet. Given it was midnight when we checked in, after a 7 hour drive, we just crashed out. I spoke to the on duty manager first thing in the morning to feedback on the horrendous cleanliness standards and initially she was incredibly apologetic, acknowledged that there is a known mould problem(!!!) on the external walls of the hotel and that it is being dealt with. She has no explanation for the mould on the back of the bathroom doors and apologised for the standard. She also gave me a case reference number and told me to explain to customer relations and that they would provide a refund. I did that, and they emailed back to say no refund could be given because the management and housekeeping team checked our room after we left and that they couldn’t see any issues with cleanliness. I.e. we were lying. Well see the images attached and make your own judgement. Mould is a genuine health hazard but this hotel is happy to have guests breathe in spores during their stay. Absolutely disgusting from a brand with such a strong reputation. I will pursue this complaint as high as it needs to go due to the health risks it poses. For your own sake, I’d avoid this hotel at all costs.
