"Disappointed"
Hayle premier is very tired and a little tatty with a stale smell throughout
I’ve stayed in other premiers that have been very smart..
Maybe Hayle is just in need of a refurbishment

"The Worst Premier Inn Ever"
My daughter and I stayed at the Hayle Premiere Inn Hotel for one night on 7th September. Our room was located in the more recently built extension. After struggling up several sets of steps we finally found our room. It was disgustingly filthy and a disgrace to the Premier Inn Hotel. On checking our beds I found dried blood on the mattress protector on my bed. Then my daughter found hairs on the shelf near the hair dryer. Not the occasional fallen hair, but the trimmings of a fringe. I went to reception and requested that our complaints should be dealt with which they were. On return to the room we found it incredibly hot. The air conditioning was not working. It must have been out of order for some time given the amount of dust and fluff that spewed forth when my daughter switched on the fan. I thought I was going to have an asthma attack but I don’t have asthma. My daughter had to use her inhaler as she does have asthma. Once again we contacted reception and requested that the dust and fluff be hoovered up. We were shocked that it was the receptionist that cleared up the mess and not someone from housekeeping. As we took note of our surroundings we noticed mould on the carpet in a corner. Dust festooning the curtains, the walls and the ceiling. I wondered if the room had ever been properly cleaned since new as there was so much obvious maintenance to be done. In the bathroom the shower gel and hand wash containers were all rusty and badly stained around the cap. The toilet seat had not been properly cleaned and at some point there had been a bad flood in the bathroom and the panels including the bath panel round to the toilet were badly distorted. The skirting boards including the bathroom and the bedroom needed attention. They looked rotten.
The receptionist that was on duty when we checked in accepted our complaints politely and dealt with them promptly.
In the past I have stayed at this hotel many times in the original hotel and found it to be in excellent order.

"Great stay, great location"
Stayed here over the bank holiday weekend and by far was the perfect location and one of my top 3 hotels. I was worried reading the reviews previously but the room I had, 103 was spotless. Yes was warm. But no aircon which I was aware. Restaurant next door not that great but Haydn refunded the meal deals and we just had breakfast. Very limited menu. Thanks to Tilly who dealt with our little issue with the taxis. She booked one for us and they were great.

"Substandard (definitely not Premier) Inn"
We recently booked a three night stay at the Premier Inn, Hayle. I chose it because of its location to family and because you generally know what you will get with a Premier Inn. The room we stayed in the first night, I think it was room 133 or 130 was the worst hotel room have ever been in. It was dirty, the carpets were covered in dust and hair, the beds didn’t even have mattress protectors on, just one (dirty) sheet over the mattress. The room backed onto the rear of the hotel and because there is no air con and the window had been left open to ‘air’ the room, by they time we go in there it was full of flies and mosquitoes. Some already dead and squashed to the walls from previous occupants but mostly alive and buzzing around the room. The curtains had mould and mildew on the back of them. The bathroom absolutely stank and was not clean. After reporting this to reception, the lady came up and cleaned the dead mosquito off the wall, but were unable to move us as the hotel was full. We had to go and find a shop to buy bleach just so we could try and mask the smell coming from the rancid bathroom. Honestly we considered sleeping in the car it was that bad. We did get moved the next day into another room that was slightly better, but I have to say that after spending £500 for a three night stay, I feel like I was robbed. In the end we left at 2:00AM on the third night because we just wanted to go home and have a shower and get into a clean bed. Seriously I just felt so disappointed. We have stayed at Premier Inn at Gatwick Airport before which is clean and comfortable, whereas this place just made our skin crawl. I’ve complained to Premier Inn and I’m currently being ghosted! If you’re staying in Hayle, I would seriously avoid this place and find an air bnb or a local hotel.
