Bude hotel

Once again we all had a great stay over a couple of nights. Rooms very tidy and clean and the staff very friendly. The kids highlight us normally the breakfasts as it’s a great value for money and this time was no different. A staff member called Vinnie James was brilliant with the kids and was very approachable if we had any questions. Thank you for another great stay and we will be back!!

This hotel is in Bude City Centre and has a lovely river view. Staff is very polite, helpful. This is ideal hotel for family stay. It is two hours drive away from Lands end so every location in Cornwall is less than 2 hours drive away. Bude has its own tourist attractions.

We have stayed here a few times and it’s all been fine . But this time the Hotel was a bit in need of a clean . There were 4 rooms on our landing the hall way smelled . It was a mixture of food and stale air horrible . The bathroom needed a good clean around the tiles there was signs of black mold starting and the holder for the liquid soap was rusting on the top . The shower curtain was also looking faded and old . There was a smell of urine in the bathroom which I assumed was coming from the floor . I cleaned it . The skirting boards were covered in dust they had not been wiped in a while . The glass tumblers for your cup of tea:coffee also needed washing I brought them up to a sparkle so they were not clean . There was an extractor fan which is in the bedroom that comes on when you go in the bathroom this was so noisy and very odd place to put it ! I just felt it was not up to normal standard . When we entered the room the duvet cover had not been smoothed out . Come on premier inn you have a great hotel up the cleaning and get the mold off the bathroom tile white . The paint work needs freshing in the bathroom as well . The staff are all very pleasant and we have no complaints on that front at all . They are busy this time of year but you can’t let standards drop ! That hall way needs a deep clean !

Once again, we had a lovely stay at the Premier on The Strand in Bude. The staff were very friendly, the location was perfect and the room was clean and very comfortable. As frequent Premier Inn users, we have to say Bude must be one of the best. Thank you.

The Premier Inn is in an absolutely prime location in the middle of a beautiful Cornish town with everything within arm's reach. Value for money is good, and it does exactly what it sets out to do for a holiday. There are a few setbacks which stand out in general: the rooms are very small, the family room being extremely minimalist; the shower wasn't really functional due to the showerhead being very leaky and spraying everywhere; the wi-fi is also useless, although you can buy a faster version. However, if you plan to spend no time in the room at all beyond sleeping it's exactly what you need (and this is what the Premier Inn is for ultimately). This all being said, the breakfasts are excellent value. The hotel was clean, it's efficient, organised with comfortable beds and essentially everything you want. We also had a room with a great street-facing view down the sea river although this won't be the case for everyone. The best quality of this hotel is the staff. They were polite and professional with a great attitude. Of particular note were Jazz (running the show) and the chef, Tony. They all seem to get on and this translates to great customer service with a sense of humor. It was great to see, and they were a credit to the hotel. I would happily stay there again. It's a solid four-star place to stay in a wonderful part of England. Nowhere is perfect, but this place does it's job very well and exceeded expectations in all the important areas at a good price. You won't be disappointed.
