"Smelly room"
First room given was not ready, bed was used and messed up, like someone just ran of the bed. Bathroom used towel all over the place. So I requested room what was prepared. The Second room had obnoxious canalisation stink same as bathroom. Elevator didn't work.
"Squalid Shambles"
Stayed overnight prior to an early morning flight from Luton Airport. Reception was busy when we arrived. Not one single indigenous member of staff. The young woman directed us to the parking machine. Once we had checked in she gave us completely erroneous directions to our room. She told us the lift was broken so we would have to hump our luggage up to the top floor. My partner has had two hip replacements and we are both elderly. We got all the way upstairs to find we'd been sent to the wrong place. Our actual room was served by a working lift so had we been given correct directions we could have saved a lot of trouble. The room wasn't spotless and we only had one set of towels. For ease we decided to eat in the Beefeater across the car park. It was very crowded but the staff were pleasant. However, after we'd finished we exited the building to find the car park prancing with rats! We stay in Premier Inn regularly and this is easily our worst experience. Useless staff and a rodent infestation is not what one expects from Premier Inn
"Worse Premier Inn"
If you don’t mind a carpark full of rats, carpets that need hoovering, a bathroom with dirty tiles and carrying your suitcases up the stairs due to a broken lift then this is the premier inn you!
"Great experience, everything we needed and wanted."
Had a great overnight stay following a late night flight arrival at Luton airport, very quick and easy to get to with plenty of parking. Rhe 2 gentleman on reception when we arrived after 11pm were very professional and helpful and gave great advice on getting late night food delivered. The room, number 30, was very nice and comfortable, one of the cleanest Premier Inn rooms we have ever stayed in, the bathroom was absolutely spotless. Breakfast was great at the Beefeater next door, we were greeted very nicely and shown to our table. Husband had a full English breakfast, the sausages were great! and I had a continental breakfast, which was equally as nice, plenty of choice and lots of fresh fruit, bananas, apples and oranges. On checking out Kliene was extremely helpful and professional, asking if we had had a comfortable stay, yes, were our needs met, most definitely and explaining and helped with the overnight parking payment. "Premier Inn Luton (Airport) - The worst experience we have had at a Premier Inn."
We sent an email to guest-relations@premierinn.com on the 07th October describing our recent stay at the Premier Inn Luton Airport. We chose this hotel as we have stayed in many Premier inns over the years. We had an early flight from Luton Airport, so the Premier inn seemed like an ideal choice. On arrival, we found that the lift was out of order, so we had to drag our suitcase up stairs, this was not ideal as my husband has back issues. Our room was small, this was not a problem, however, it was very tatty, grubby and dirty, not up to the standard that we have come to expect from Premier inns. We had booked the ‘meal deal’ for dinner and breakfast the following morning. We headed out to the Beefeater, which is located across the car park, whilst walking over we were horrified to see a large rat run a cross the car park. Our evening meal at the Beefeater was acceptable and after eating we returned to our room. The following morning we needed to get up early. My husband had a shower and was rather annoyed to find the shower gell container was completely empty. We went over to the Beefeater, again whilst crossing the car park we saw another large rat. We were the first customers for breakfast when the restaurant opened at 6.30, as we needed to leave for the airport at 7.00. Unfortunately, the hot food was extremely slow to come out. The restaurant manager was apologetic, but this did not help us, due to our time constraints. The coffee machine had also run out of coffee beans, the hot water machine was broken, some kind of flask was being used to dispense hot water. We could wait no longer for the rest of the hot food to come out, so had to make do with the meagre offerings that were available. This is not acceptable when we had paid for a full unlimited breakfast. On the whole, this was the very worst experience by far, that we have ever had at a Premier inn.
