"Not very good"
hotel was not very good lifts not working paid for triple room only had two cups no glasses and very noisy. As for the beefeater restaurant had breakfast not very good .toaster broken hot water machine not working very shabby come on Whitbread sort it out as customers expected to pay good money for this
"Poor, must do better Premier Inn !"
I have stayed at many different Premier Inn locations, my preferred choice of hotel for my UK travels and it is, in my opinion, an excellent brand of accommodation, however, unfortunately this has been the worst I have experienced. Rats survey the car park upon arrival ! Automatic check-in facility was not working properly. The lift was out of order (and this had been the case for over a week) yet arriving customers were not advised this until their room number had been assigned ! Additionally the normal desk position , below the wall mounted TV, had been removed leaving all the plug sockets to fend for themselves. Not good Premier Inn, this Hotel requires a big shake-up.
"there's nothing premier about this place!"
Rats in the car park, broken lift no room refresh or replacement towels milk or tea bags and atrocious food - AVOID!!!!!!!
"Broken lift, bare tooms, and useless air-con"
I’ve stayed at this Premier Inn several times before and it’s usually been fine. This time, however, felt a little different — and not in a good way. I’m not sure if it was just an off night or a sign of things slipping more generally. Check-in is still a pain point. Only one person was working the desk, and as always, if a few guests happen to arrive together, it quickly turns into chaos. We were given a room on the top floor, but the only lift was out of order. Rather than rejoining the queue, we ended up lugging our bags up several flights of stairs. Frustrating, especially as the hotel wasn’t full and plenty of lower-floor rooms were available. The room itself felt oddly stripped back. No sofa, no dressing table, just two chairs, a small round table, and a wide expanse of empty space. It almost looked like they’d had a furniture sale and forgotten to restock. The biggest issue, though, was the air conditioning. The airflow was so weak it wouldn’t have disturbed a feather, yet the unit still managed to make a racket all night. At times I wasn’t sure if it was the machine, my stomach, leaking pipes, or perhaps the River Thames flowing past the window. Either way, it made for a hot and noisy night’s sleep. I’m left wondering what’s going on with Premier Inn. This might just have been a bad room, but it’s disappointing when a brand that once defined “budget but reliable” no longer feels like either. If you’re heading to this hotel, all I can say is: good luck. Bring earplugs, climbing gear, and maybe some ice packs — just in case.
"Night stay before early flight at Premier Inn"
Stayed at this Premier Inn before flying from Luton Airport. Was easy to find and a short drive to the airport car park the next day. When we arrived in the early evening the car park was pretty full and there were a lot of rats running around the grounds, I didn’t particularly like this as there were so many. Think they need to sort this . The reception staff were friendly and helpful. It was very clean inside the building. One lift wasn’t working at all and the other lift had a problem as you couldn’t call it down to the ground floor, which you need with heavy suitcases. The guy from reception had to go up the stairs and get the lift to come down . Was ok once you got in the lift and go to the floor you needed. When we got in our room it was good. Clean room , comfy bed and a good shower. Only problem was that there were no towels . Husband got in the shower and realised there were no towels. I had to go back to reception to get them . Good job stairs don’t bother me as the lift wasn’t working properly . Went to the Beefeater restaurant for an evening meal and as we hadn’t booked we had to sit in the bar area as it was so busy . Food and service was good. Had a decent sleep as their beds are comfy. It was quiet with no doors banging in the night. We did get up early for our flight. No problems there.
