"Excellent"
Friendly staff. Clean, tidy and comfortable rooms. They were doing some reservations at the time but offered a complimentary breakfast.
"Extremely hot, not safe rooms"
The reception staff were friendly but that’s about all that is positive during our three night stay. I booked 3 rooms early this year and we were never informed of the restaurant closure. The rooms were so hot - they reached 29 degrees C and stayed that way overnight! The fan we received was useless - did nothing but push the hot air around - outside of the room it was cool but apparently our room was close to the boiler room on the ground floor! A box of specialty beers that we had went missing from our room - but no response from anyone as to why it went missing from our room!!!! Wifi speed was so slow - we couldn’t even do work emails during our stay. Overall we had a very disappointing stay and will definitely not be using this Premier Inn ever again. I suggest anyone booking here thinks twice if you don’t want to be cooked alive or have any thing go missing!!
"AVOID AT ALL COSTS - do not waste your time and money"
TERRIBLE. probably the last premier inn ill ever stay in as result of this stay. awful. area was a building site - only told me in an email AFTER I had booked and paid. no bar. no restaurant. no way to get a drink. no air con in the room (and it was boiling). asked for extra fan didnt get it. no plugs near the bed. there was nothing right about this hotel - even for £20 a night it would have been too much. they should be ashamed of themselves even inviting people to stay there in that condition. awful
"Disappointing"
Very disappointed. There is no lift to the 2nd floor(thankfully we only had the 1 case). The room was extremely hot with no way of cooling it down(not even a fan in the room). I was informed the week before that the restaurant attached was closed due to renovation, with at least a 20 min walk to anywhere to eat with a young child is not ideal. If I had been informed at the time of booking that it maybe closed i would have made alternative arrangements. This was definitely a completely different experience to our stay in the Scarborough Premier Inn.
"Best people on reception"
Absolutely exceptional service from Tracey and Liam.. really lovely, friendly people and excellent customer service! Absolute superstars that made our stay wonderful- thank you so much for all your kindness
