1. INTRODUCTION

1.1 By entering this promotion, all participants will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions in full. All entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions.

1.2 The promotion is open to residents of the UK aged 18 or over at the date on which they enter the promotion, excluding employees of the promoter, its group companies, its agents or anyone professionally connected with this promotion and any member of their respective immediate families.

1.3 Entry opens  at 00:01 on Monday 22nd June 2020 and closes at 23:59 on Sunday 5th July 2020. Entries received after this time and date will not be eligible to win a prize.

1.4 No purchase is necessary to enter the promotion. However, in order to enter the promotion you must have an Internet connection and a Facebook account.


2. ENTRY TO THE PROMOTION

2.1 To be entered into the prize draw, you must answer the question within the comments section of the post. 

2.2 Only one entry is permitted per person, per channel.


3. WINNER NOTIFICATION

3.1 One winner will be randomly selected from all valid entries and will be notified 1-2 weeks after the competitions has ended. All eligible entries will be those who have entered on Facebook by 23:59 on 5th July 2020 (the “Closing Date”). The winner will be selected under independent supervision.

3.2 Winners will be notified by Direct Message on Facebook and will be asked to confirm their details for notification of the prize.

3.3.     Winners have 10 days from initial notification to confirm acceptance of their Prize, otherwise the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.

3.4.     The Promoter does not accept any responsibility in the event a winner is not able to take up their prize and reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.


4. THE PRIZE AND PRIZE DELIVERY

4.1 There is one prize available to be won in total. The prize consists of a standard Premier Inn king-sized bed, mattress, two sets of pillows, king-sized duvet, one pair of full length curtains, one purple bed runner, one consumables tray (including kettle, 2 x mugs and selection of tea and coffee sachets) and delivery within GB (the “Prize”).

4.2   Please allow 90 days from valid acceptance for delivery of the Prize. The Premier Inn bed will be delivered directly from Hypnos, and the delivery date will be confirmed with the winner once details are confirmed. Prizes will be delivered via courier on an agreed date and may arrive separately. A signature will be required to acknowledge delivery.


5. CONDITIONS

5.1 If any Prizes are undelivered due to inaccurate details the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw and reallocate the prize entitlement with no liability. 

5.2 The prize details will be communicated within 5 working days from a valid acceptance of the prize.

5.3 No cash alternative. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be resold. The promoter reserves the right to substitute an alternative prize of equal or greater value. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the promoter, the prize will only be awarded to the winner.

5.4 The promoter reserves the right to publish each winner's name, photograph and county on its Facebook page or to publicise the prize-giving presentation within a year of the closing date.

5.5 Subject to the winner’s consent, each winner's name and county are available on request by emailing premierinncompetition@whitbread.com within 3 months of the closing date.

5.6 No entries from agents, third parties, syndicated entries or those made using methods such as a computer macro, script or the use of automated devices are permitted and no bulk entries.

5.7 All costs and expenses not included within the prizes are the responsibility of the winner(s).

5.8 The promoter reserves the right at any time, in its absolute discretion, to:
i. verify the eligibility of any entrant (including their age and place of residence);
ii. disqualify any entrant found to be abusing or tampering with the operation of the promotion or entering using fraudulent means, or who the promoter believes to have acted in breach of these terms and conditions;
iii. disqualify entrants who do not give correct contact details or those who make an entry on someone else's behalf; [and
iv. disqualify any entrant posting an entry or a comment to the promoter’s Facebook page that is, in the promoter's opinion, inappropriate, offensive or upsetting to other entrants, fans of the promoter or directly aimed at the promoter, or contrary to applicable law, and to remove any such entry or comment.


6. LIABILITY

6.1 The promotion is not in any way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. Entrants acknowledge that Facebook shall not have any liability to them in connection with the promotion.

6.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the promoter excludes liability for any losses, damages or claims incurred by any person in connection with the promotion or receipt or misuse of any prize. Your statutory rights are not affected.

6.3 Except as otherwise required by applicable law, the promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any entry or claim which for technical or other reasons is unsuccessful, incomplete, lost, late, damaged, corrupted or misdirected.


7.GENERAL

7.1 By entering the Promotion, entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and acknowledge that any decision of the promoter in respect of the promotion is final. For questions regarding the promotion, email premierinncompetition@whitbread.com

7.2 The promoter reserves the right to extend, withdraw, alter or suspend the promotion or these terms and conditions at any time if circumstances beyond its control make this unavoidable.

7.3 All personal data submitted in connection with the promotion will be processed by the promoter for the purposes of administering and managing the promotion and prizes (where applicable) and verifying the eligibility of each participant. The promoter will not use any personal data for any other purposes without the consent of the relevant participant. By participating in the promotion, each entrant consents to the use of their personal data in accordance with these terms and conditions.

7.4 Any images are an illustrative example and do not show the exact prize(s).

7.5.     The promoter reserves the right to, at its sole discretion, disqualify any social media entries containing:
(a) content deemed to be wholly inappropriate, discriminatory or illegal, including but not limited to obscene, indecent, defamatory, malicious, racist, sexist, homophobic, harassing, threatening and/or offensive, inclusive of nudity and/or pornography, sexual, violent and fraudulent in nature.
(b) any activity or behaviour which causes, encourages or promotes danger or a threat to the health and safety of the entrant and/or others.
(c) any activity or behaviour which promotes or advertises goods and/or services, including competitor products, for any form of remuneration.
(d) any attempt to impersonate another person or include persons who have not given permission to feature in the entry.
(e) prominent featuring of any trademark or copyright material not owned or licensed by the promoter or any third party connected to the promoter for the purposes of the promotion.

7.6 This promotion and these terms and conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Each participant irrevocably agrees that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this promotion or these terms and conditions.
