INF Netball World Cup

The first ever World Netball Championships were held in the seaside town of Eastbourne in 1963, pioneering a formal competition for the tactical, fast-paced game of netball that would become the Netball World Cup. 2019 sees 16 teams from across the world compete in this exciting and unpredictable tournament.

2018 was a triumph for the English netball team, who won gold in the Commonwealth Games - a win in the first ever final that wasn’t between Australia and New Zealand. England’s netball team were crowned Team of the Year by the BBC and their last-second goal was voted Greatest Sporting Moment by the public - a huge and much deserved achievement after coming third in the last Netball World Cup in 2015. 2019 should be an unmissable competition.
