Hotel description
Explore Snowdonia National Park and scale the top of Mount Snowdon from our Premier Inn Porthmadog hotel. Located in a breathtaking part of Gwynedd, North Wales with scenic views and connections throughout the area, our hotel brings all the convenience of Porthmadog town with scenic countryside views – Porthmadog station and Porthmadog High Street are only round the corner, as is Afon Glaslyn and Afon Dwyryd for amazing riverside views.
While we have Snowdonia National Park on one side of our hotel, we’ve still got the coast on the other. Black Rock Sands Beach is only a 10-minute drive away with miles and miles of golden sand, perfect for a family beach trip in North Wales. The Maritime Museum and Welsh Highland Heritage Railway are only a short drive away too, and make a great alternative to outdoorsy activities if the weather’s not great. Nearby Caernarfon Castle is well worth a visit too, it has an amazing history and will be a highlight for any family trips or for anyone interested in learning more about Welsh history.
Fill up on a delicious meal or unwind with a quick drink at our on-site Thyme restaurant. And after a busy day out in Porthmadog, look forward to a relaxing sleep on one of our super-comfy kingsize beds.
