Bangor (Gwynedd, North Wales) hotel

Booked last min. £66 For a twin for one night. Room clean enough. Beds comfy. Plenty of pillows. Air con even though advertised as not having it. Big TV. Shower was fine but prefer detachable head. Quiet place and slept well.

Don’t forget anything and leave it in the room when you check out. You’ll never see it again, the staff will insist the room was check and nothing found.

Chech In: March 21st 2026 When I first arrived at the hotel and spoke with Josh, he was extremely helpful and informative. I had also spoken to him a couple of days earlier regarding bookings, train journeys, and the distance from the hotel to the university where I was competing in a weightlifting event. Throughout my stay, he remained supportive, helping me arrange a taxi for the following morning and ensuring I knew where everything was, including my room and the dining areas. However, my experience was let down by several issues. When I entered my room, there was an unpleasant smell, and I discovered that dirty bed linen had been left under the bed rather than removed. Dinner service was particularly disappointing. The pub appeared to be very understaffed, with only two team members responsible for both seating guests and clearing tables. I had booked a meal deal with my stay, but the menu provided in the pub did not align with this offer. Most of the items I wanted required an additional charge, which was frustrating. There were also organisational issues—after being shown to my table and going to the bar to order food as instructed, my table was given away to another couple. My food then took approximately 50 minutes to arrive, as my order had not been sent through to the kitchen. I had to follow this up myself before it was finally prepared. The dessert I received was also not as expected, and I had to request an alternative. Breakfast the next morning was equally disappointing, bland and lacking quality. Unfortunately, due to my competition and a pre-booked taxi, I had no choice but to eat it. That said, Natalie was exceptional. She made every effort to resolve the issues I experienced and was clearly aware of the problems. Both she and Josh were the highlights of my stay, and I appreciate their efforts. However, despite their excellent service, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

Stayed there overnight me partner and child... Room was fab very comfortable clean and reception staff was very accommodating and welcoming..... unlimited breakfast was ok ....continental breakfast was great all in all great stay value for money not expensive and would stay again

Another great stay. From booking to departure everything is great. The staff are excellent and a credit to the company. The room is large and comfortable and clean. The bed is comfortable and large. The food is also very good and the menu has a good selection.
