"A typical Premier Inn (when you can find it)"
Average premier inn in a busy location (despite this there was no road noise in the bedroom) . VERY hard to find, there are no Premier Inn signs on the very busy roundabout to show you which exit you actually need. Welcome was friendly and efficient. The room was clean , just typical Premier Inn (which is fine!) . There is a Premier Inn restaurant which only serves breakfasts - evening meals you can go to the adjacent Harvester or McDonalds over the road if that's your thing. Breakfasts are cooked to order, not buffet style. They are tasty but even though the very nice waitress works extremely hard we still had to wait 35 minutes for ours to be cooked. It was nice when it came but still ... in summary , a good nights sleep in a typical Premier inn , you may however be better off going to the Harvester next door for breakfast if you're in a hurry.

"Fabulous Staff. Good Location."
Conveniently positioned to visit The Big Pit, Castell Coch and other tourist sites in South Wales. This might not be the poshest hotel but the staff are absolutely delightful. The breakfast team have worked together for years, they are incredibly effecient and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and quite frankly they made our stay special. Thank you ladies!

"Excellent customer service"
We chose this location as wanted to fit in some hiking on the Offa's Dyke path and also take in Pontypool parkrun, which we knew was close by. We were warmly greeted by Phil, quite late on the Friday night, on the warmest weekend of the year so far. Phil went above and beyond, without being asked, and got us a couple of glasses of iced water to take to our rooms. Thank you Phil. The rest of the team we saw over the weekend, Alison, Sue, Lynn & chef Stephen, were all equally as helpful and friendly, and we were given directions to Pontypool park, by way of a beautiful cut through by the local river, then canal, that neither Google Maps or my hiking app could find, meaning our walk to Pontypool park was less than a mile.... and beautiful!
In an era where we feel we have seen a sharp decline in customer service, this really was such a pleasant surprise and very much appreciated. The staff really couldn't have done any more to make our stay one of the best we've had! Thank you all. From Phil & Claire

"Very good.would definitely stay again."
Friendly, helpful staff who made us feel very welcome.
They all work well together as a team.
The breakfast offers a full English/Welsh breakfast. Plenty of choice.
This is especially cooked freshly to order.
A Continental breakfast breakfast is readily available.very
