"No breakfast"
My wife and I was turned away from a empty restaurant at cwbran premier inn at breakfast time by a member of staff that looked and acted like she didn't want to be there even though we were a returning paying guest. When I complained I had a few emails saying my name wasn't on the booking, but they were quick enough to send me a email asking for a review đ đ
.otherwise the stay was ok.

"Good Welsh hospitality, fine staff, comfortable accommodation and decent food."
My wife and I stayed over after seeing our football team's final game of the season earlier on that day in Cheltenham. On arrival we were booked in by "Courtney", who is an absolute credit to the hotel. She was professional, efficent and friendly: she subsequently dealt with two or three minor problems immediately, as and when we spoke with her. The room's bed was very comfrotable and the curtains gave a good degree of darkness even after first light. We had a meal deal for evening and breakfast at the adjacent (Table Table?) restaurant. The dinner meal we were attended by "Robbie". What a delight to have someone who was so good at their job. He was attentive, courteous, efficient and consistently maintained a very high standard of service more akin to that which you would expect from a Michelin starred restaurant than a chain restaurant. He is a credit to the restaurant. For breakfast we wre attended by "Hendra", another delightful, cheerful and super efficient, professional staff member ho is also a great credit to the restaurant. All these staffmade our stay very warm and hospitable. Great Welsh hospitality at a good price. We would recommed this hotel and restaurant for a comfortable, relaxed and an enjoyable stayover.

"Showed improvement from last year!"
My second stay here, and the externals had improved since last year- the car park was less rubbish strewn, and the reception desk was 'manned' more. I had cooked breakfast this time: poached eggs perfect most days, but first some reason on Monday they were very watery. Still beautifully cooked, though. Room was good: bed a bit high, but soo comfy! Generally quiet, but noisy guests one night.

"Little disappointing"
It was a good stay as far as Premier Inn is concerned. Comfy bed which you can rely on. The tv was unforgivably small. 20 inches at best. Thin towels which were not so great. Dinner over the road in the restaurant was poor. Staff are lovely though. No coffee machine at breakfast neither as it was broken
