"It's gone downhill"
We have stayed at this Premier Inn many times over the years. However this time we noticed a distinct deterioration on our 2 day stay in May. The lift was very dirty inside, our bathroom was shabby with tatty skirting boards. The air con in our room didn't work. We were told they would be able to control it from the reception. We were due to come back again for another night's stay a few days later. On leaving we asked if we could have a better room when we went back. We were told some had been upgraded but it wasn't possible to identify one for us as it's 'random'. Surely there is a record of which bathrooms have been redone. In the end we felt that as the hotel was not as before we would cancel our 1 night booking at £99 as it would not be good value, so we booked somewhere else in Swansea for that further night. It's a shame it's not as good, as we are now unlikely to return despite having stayed there many times before.

"A evening meal whilst away on work"
I enjoyed my evening here with Luke and others looking after me in the restaurant.

"Not a good experience"
This may not sound important to some but I have stayed here several times before with no problems but this time, my room was not ready at 4pm and the receptionist was having problems with the computer. In the early hours of Friday 17th April between 2am and 3am I was woken by loud noises in corridor outside my room. I looked through peephole and saw 5 men all laughing and talking loudly with no thought for other guests. 2 went into rooms, the other three left. I tries to ring the hotel reception after getting the number from a virtual receptionist on Premier Inns website. I rang three times in the hour and no one answered. During that time the other three men had come back and were looking for their rooms noisily again. 1 even said he thought my room number was his. Being alone this unnerved me and I got little sleep that night. I did tell the receptionist the next day and she said they have 24 hour reception and someone should have answered my call. She added that she would inform the manager.
No one has contacted me about this and I don't think I will be staying here again.

I recently stayed at the Premier Inn Swansea and had a generally positive experience. The hotel offers good value for money and is a reliable choice for a comfortable stay in the area.
The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a short visit. The bed was particularly comfortable, which made it easy to get a good night’s sleep. While the décor is fairly simple and standard for the brand, it felt fresh and functional.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, making check-in and check-out smooth and straightforward. The location is also convenient, with easy access to Swansea city centre and nearby attractions.
Breakfast was decent, with a reasonable selection of hot and cold options to start the day. While it may not be anything exceptional, it certainly does the job.
Overall, Premier Inn Swansea provides a dependable and pleasant stay. It may not be luxurious, but it delivers comfort, cleanliness, and convenience at a fair price.
