"Ideal location for entertainment"
We chose this hotel because it was city centre, not far from the train station and the theatre we were visiting. I arrived after my two friends and I did have a little trouble finding the hotel, even with Google maps. This was because the entrance is not on Wind Street but on Little Wind Street ( it looks like an alley way ). From check in to finally picking up my suitcase at the end of the next day ( I was very grateful for their luggage storage facility ), the staff were fantastic and deserve recognition.
My room was spotlessly clean but I was a little disappointed with two things. The bed was not as comfortable as I expected, from previous stays in Premier Inns. The mattress was far too soft for my liking ( resulting in backache for several days afterwards ) and the bed unusually high. I've since learnt that Premier Inn have switched from Hypnos mattresses to Silentnight. Because of the height, I did wonder if my bed had a mattress topper, too. I was disappointed to find the shower to be located over a bath tub, but perhaps I should have requested a free standing one, if available.
I was grateful for the provision of a hairdryer in the room, as I have a lot of hair.
I was expecting a buffet breakfast and paid for the full breakfast. However, I was informed that as the hotel wasn't busy, breakfast would be served individually. The breakfast was good, as was the service, but I would have preferred a buffet, to ponder my choices, more thoroughly.
There was misinformation online, as I thought I could book a late checkout, for 2pm. On arrival at the hotel, I was informed that they don't offer this and all checkouts are 12 noon, at the latest.
This would have been fine for me, had I not mislaid my house keys and had to unpack my suitcase and repack. The member of housekeeping assigned to turn over my room, was most understanding. So I was glad of the extra minutes allowed to find my keys, at the bottom of my suitcase.
The location of the hotel was ideal for our stay. Thursday night, we headed to Swansea Grand Theatre to see our favourite tribute band, the Illegal Eagles. Superbly entertaining, as usual. Then we went for a few drinks afterwards. On Friday morning we had breakfast together, then my two friends had to return home. I remained in Swansea and visited the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery. There was an especially beautiful kite exhibition, as well as their usual exhibits. Then I went for a meal, before going to Swansea Grand Theatre again. This time it was to see a play, ' Physical Education ', in the Arts Wing. It was outstanding, as were the individual performers. I thoroughly recommend this production to all. It was a most thought provoking and honest production, in the writing and execution. Highly skilled, moving and highly entertaining.
I returned to the hotel after the theatre, to retrieve my suitcase, before catching my train home.
I was a little surprised at the cost of a room for one night, especially as it was a week night, not a weekend and breakfast is extra ( which I was already familiar with, in Premier Inns ). But perhaps that's par for the course now, with rising prices everywhere.
We were very fortunate with warm, dry weather, throughout our stay. I was especially pleased that I could explore Swansea, without an umbrella and my suitcase.
So finally, a big thankyou to Premier Inn Swansea City Centre, for a lovely stay and storing my luggage.

"Excellent stay"
I had a pleasant stay at Premier Inn Swansea City Centre. The location is excellent, with easy access to the city centre, NCP, and local attractions. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the overall experience enjoyable and good value for money.
