"59th Anniversary Celebration"
The hotel staff were extremely helpful giving a room helpful for my disability. One person in particular stood out, Jamie who arranged to leave us a bouquet of flowers in the room with a card.
The room was fitted with effectively triple glazing so was very quiet and peaceful.
Next time we must try the hotel on the Quay.

"COMFORTABLE, CLEAN AND SPACIOUS."
We had one night in room 234.
The hotel is a round fronted building and seemed to have lots of rooms on our floor and I assume the other two floors as well. One below and one above.
The room has a standard of fittings as in all of the chain and in many others too. It is not a standard shape though given the shape if the building. The room was a lot larger than others I have used as we had no standard corners. I would like to suggest that given the extra space a comfortable chair could be added and still would leave room.
We liked it. Windows that open too.
We both had a quiet night and a comfy bed.
The TV would not change channels which we reported on leaving and were told it would be dealt with.
The shower worked very well.
Breakfast was OK. We thought the breakfast room was a bit small, given the size of the hotel. It coped well while we were in there.
It's a short walk from the station.
I would stay again if in town.

"Great location to explore Swansea and the coastline"
This is a ideally located hotel for exploring Swansea and the nearby coast. You usually know what you are getting with Premier Inn and if you use the nearby council car park (4 minutes walk) it costs just £5 a day instead of £15 in the adjoining NCP.
The flexibility of breakfast is ideal, we stayed for 3 nights and had the continental on the first morning, opted out on the second and then the full cooked option on the final day. Rooms are spacious and pretty well sound proofed from outside (of course some guests always don't always have much respect, but that is true for any hotel).
We used this as a base to head out to Mumbles on the first day, enjoying a scenic 15 minute drive along the coast line (there are plenty of busses or you can walk the entire way). Then on the following day we explored the city itself and the huge enclosed Marina area. On our final morning we then visited the Waterside museum which offers free entry and a portal into the history of Wales.
Very friendly and helpful staff in the hotel and would recommend it to others without hesitation. If you can pick up some better value nights, which are clearly visible when booking then you are making a great choice. We actually planned 2 nights away but upon seeing the prices we added another night and are so glad we did.
Good selection of food at breakfast, ideal location and the standard Premier Inn room experience with a decent TV and tea / coffee making facilities.

"Group trip."
We stayed here as part of a group trip (brass band competition at the Brangwyn Hall) - we'd stayed here last year and, having had a comfortable stay, decided to book again this year. Reasons being:
- Access - it's got a car park attached/10 min walk from the train station, great for our group
- 5 min drive/25 min walk from the Brangwyn, where our competition was taking place
- Close to loads of restaraunts and pubs
- Reasonably priced (for fixed rate... flexible rates are more expensive but do have good cancellation perks).
- comfortable stay last time we were here... same again this time.
When we origianlly booked, my husband and I hadn't booked breakfast for any morning. We stayed 3 nights, and on arrival added in one morning's breakfast. It was really easy to sort and pay for on arrival; the consequential additional booking confirmations/invoices were initially a little confusing but actually only confirmed the breakfast add-on!
As for the breakfast that one morning.... well done to the morning restaraunt team for dealing with the sheer volume of people coming down to eat in such a short period of time. We all got seated, we were all fed and watered (food was all quite fresh as a result of the high turnover of people!), there was occasionally a few minutes' wait for things like clean tea/coffee mugs but that was fine. There was a good choice of hot and cold food, and juices/tea/coffee etc.
Our room: We booked a double room, and got allocated such on the 3rd floor. Great! There's both stairs and lift access, right by reception. We did struggle getting room temperature right overnight - it was a surprisingly warm weekend for March. The one night we did leave the window open, I got woken up by rowdy Saturday night drinkers being a bit loud at some daft time of morning (shutting a window and going back to bed = I was back asleep really quickly). Other than those little things: check in/out was easy, the bed was comfy, wardrobe/storage space/desk space/miscellaneous spaces are all good, good space to get round the room and ensuite bathroom - and that's in a basic double room!
I'd happily book here again if anything in life brings me to Swansea.

"Fab experience"
just returned from a lovely trip from swansea stayed at this hotel with my 3 children, lovely helpful staff who go above and beyond it seems ( must admit some of the reviews i was worried) but had a fantastic time!! conseriding it was a lively saturday night we had a extremely quiet room, made me wonder if we were the only ones in the corridor as we hardly heard a thing! we had a pouch of chocolate on arrival waiting for us which was such a lovely gesture we travelled a couple hours away and i had hungry children so this made the start to their trip special! only negative was the heating as the room was a bit cold for a while in the evening but once i triggered the heating to go off and on a few times it soon warmed up, thankyou to all the staff that helped this weekend hopefully will return sometime in the future
