Swansea City Centre hotel

Room was good but very disappointed with the meal choices in the restaurant. Usually Premier Inns have restaurants with extensive menus & the meal deal is great value. Unfortunately Premier Inn Swansea has a much reduced menu - fine if you like anything with chips. I wondered if I may be too late for the Sunday roast - I wasn't as it didn't exist! Backup option was the Steak & ale pie that I've seen offered at every Premier Inn - nope, not here. Having pre-booked a meal deal, I couldn't then just go elsewhere in Swansea for a decent meal choice. Have to admit, nothing wrong with the quality of the food - the fish & chips and breakfast next day were fine. Note re parking - don't use the rip-off £15 NCP car park next door, use JustPark for the Sainsbury's car park, 5 mins walk away for £6.69.

Extremely poor breakfast experience…very little food available, no plates, no cups, no cutlery, no juice. Waited an age to be seated. 1 member of staff dealing all the dining issues. Reported to reception but dealt with poorly.

Everything was great. Though it was too warm in Swansea and roo was boiling but receptionist helped us a lot to change the room.

We loved everything about this City Centre Premier Inn. The location is perfect, it is within a very short walking distance of many restaurants, a huge variety, and the shops. The beach and the Marina are also about 20 mins walk away in each direction The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the rooms are always neat and tidy and clean, and so comfortable. If you need anything, you just need to ask at reception. The rooms are very well insulated, we did not experience any noise from Wind Street at all. We parked in a car park up the road near the Marina bridge, for a very reasonable daily rate, much cheaper than the multi story car park next door. We did not use any public transport as we walked everywhere, but the bus station is easily accessible for those wanting to venture further out. I can highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and very convenient Swansea city centre experience.

Great location and room standards. Easy check in and lovely touch from housekeeping knowing was travelling with kids solo. Breakfast first day was plated and guy on duty couldnt do enough for us. Second day came down bit later completely different level of service standards. 1 staff member who constantly disappeared so bit of a wait at arrival with multiple tables having dirty plates 10+, both buffet empty amd drinks low. Which i get 2 more staff did arrive shorty after seating but food arrived in drips and draps. Sausages the 5 mins later bacon then 5 minutes later eggs felt like having a tapas style breakfast. 17 people followed us so unsure why all too so long to replace. The staff pace never really picked up and left after time as felt upset and unwelcome. At check out did try and contact staff/ duty manager with no response.
