      "Last minute booking"
Last minute booking as we were having our driveway done and they turned up early stuff were helpful room was ideal for our needs
      "Night stay in Port Talbot"
Our room was ok and certainly not "wow". I'm not bothered about the purple bits on the bed but they were missing. We had one chair for both of us but thankfully we had a double bed and a single bed. We had asked for a king size bed but that never happened. In general the night was quiet and I did get a lot of sleep. The shower was not great as it was just an over head one and there were no toilet rolls just toilet sheets from a dispenser next to the toilet. No complaints at all about the evening meal or breakfast. Overall, I think the days of luxury at a Premier Inn have gone. I'm going to consider other hotels in the future.
      "Business Trip"
Annex building does not have opening windows. Aircon was ok-ish - but hot during the night. Breakfast cereals were stale - bananas were sub-standard quality
"A mediocre PI with mould problems"
Stayed for work. Premier Inn is pretty variable these days. Some venues are unloved and it shows, some are in such high demand they don't make any effort because they don't have to, others are in competitive areas and really try hard. This PI is very much in the first group. My room had the newer style furniture (the dark veneer rather than the older pine veneer) but had no AC, only a heater and a window that was open on arrival as the weather had warmed up. The consequences of that were clear in the morning when I found the window had mould all the way around it, as did the skirting board in the corner (see photos). This points to a cleaning regime that is either lacking, or does not have enough resources to respond to deeper cleaning requirements. To avoid the room getting too hot (it was only April!) I had to keep the window open all night, but the adjacent Beefeater had loud music late into the night. The bed was comfortable, and the room had plenty of space for my one night stay. The only saving grace is the staff were friendly, did their best to help, and reception were concerned when I reported the window mould on checkout, so hopefully this will be sorted. Also the breakfast is cooked to order and was just as I asked which is much better than the buffet other PIs use.
      "The best Premier Inn"
The best Premier Inn, reception is welcoming, rooms are clean and the restaurant is the best I have ever been to. Advise booking as they are so busy and poplar which says it all, fantastic staff, good food and great atmosphere. This is how all Premier Inns should be everyone is a credit to the business.
