We broke down during our road trip and unfortunately our car could not be repaired until the following day. Kwik Fit recommended this hotel to us, and luckily there was still a family room available.
We arrived carrying our luggage through the heat and were warmly welcomed. We explained that we had become stranded and, after spending hours and hours waiting, we had no other option but to stay overnight. We were clearly exhausted and overheated, but the staff calmly explained where we could eat and have breakfast, and they kindly provided us with extra bottles of cold water. Such a thoughtful gesture!
We had a lovely hot meal in the restaurant that evening, and there was plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The night was warm, which was understandable given the heatwave, but the 12 pm check-out time allowed us to start the day at a relaxed pace.
Before leaving, we bought a few souvenirs and were even given a little extra gift to take with us. Not only is the staff exceptionally kind and helpful, but the rooms are also clean, spacious, and modern, with wonderfully comfortable beds.
A truly welcoming place that made an unexpected and stressful situation so much easier.

"Never again!"
The highlight of the meal? Fleas. All three of us got bitten. Nice to know someone enjoyed our visit.
The Premier Inn itself was exactly what you’d expect. The rooms were fine, the staff were pleasant enough, but the car park was about as welcoming as a game of automotive Tetris.
Overall, the location is brilliant. Everything else feels like an endurance event. I’d honestly rather sleep in the car next time—and at least there, I know the only thing biting me will be the cold.

"Ok if you can get for £ 50 p/n eat drink elsewhere."
Stayed in loads of premier inns and go to some just for breakfast but this is the worst only budget friendly if booked in advance. Shop around there are loads of places nearby for a similar price. Avoid on site bar/breakfast
Room. paint splashes on bathroom floor. Skirting in bathroom water damaged. Bathroom smelt damp. Black out curtains that don’t reach floor letting light in plus Moth holes in curtains. Tv poor signal on some Chanel’s could not watch itv at all Chanel’s stored irregularly not able to view to guide on set.
On site restaurant awful. A tree growing from roof rotted window frames render falling off premier inn Sign fell off posts and left lying on ground. A hygiene rating of 3, damp mould on walls. carpets and chair upholstery heavily stained. Tables worn through varnish. Dirty cups bowls and plates at self service area had to look through stacks to find clean ones. covers falling off cereal storage bins. Had cooked on first morning which was ok except for sausages only cooked brown on one side although cooked through tough sausage skin on beige side not appealing. Scrambled egg on second morning tasteless. Bar area smells with years of beer socked into carpet.

"Not good"
Tatty outside Tatty inside, breakfast chef didn't turn up on day 2, very disappointing visit and way way way over-priced with building work outside, and builders staying at the hotel and taking all the parking spaces

"Poor Hygiene and Customer Service"
I stayed here for two nights for work. Construction was very loud and ongoing. There were also feces and urine stains from what I'm assuming were mice/rats. I raised this to the staff, they assured me they would move me into a different room. As I was out all day during work, when I came back in the evening, they said there was no space to move me. And there was more feces and urine!! I spoke with customer service and they were very unhelpful, and tried to claim it was paint stains.... never heard of paint stains looking like droppings and reappearing after being cleaned up.
Definitely avoid.
