"Restaurant closing down 03rd Sep 2026"
Meal deal over. Restaurant sign saying it was closing on 03rd Sep. We had meal deal but half items
Missing from menu as it was winding down. Staff were lovely and still smiling but sad to be leaving.
Hotel nice but the meal deal was the reason I loved staying. Seems better to sell the business and customer left hungry. The whole of the UK is going the same direction :(

"Normally good - this time grim."
Come here for bike park wales and normally great but this time grim. Building works in car park and building so I was put in room facing the works. Room had had massive leak so still damp smell and massive stain in ceiling. Wotk started at 7am so fair play to the workies but sleep was out the window. Restaurant is being closed down so limited menu and place had given up. Stayed in this hotel about 10 times now but not going back again - chance an AirBnB or something. I’d avoid until they’ve sorted out the remedial works and restaurant. Shame as it is handy for BPW.

"save your money and go else where"
The hotel is ok but the restaurant needs to be shut down as the outside is falling apart and the evening meals where shocking and I mean shocking you order a starter and that comes out with the mains and its so bad I had to video it as proof as no-one would believe food could look so bad. and the restaurant shuts at 8pm with no bar service after 9pm

"5 stars"
We broke down during our road trip and unfortunately our car could not be repaired until the following day. Kwik Fit recommended this hotel to us, and luckily there was still a family room available.
We arrived carrying our luggage through the heat and were warmly welcomed. We explained that we had become stranded and, after spending hours and hours waiting, we had no other option but to stay overnight. We were clearly exhausted and overheated, but the staff calmly explained where we could eat and have breakfast, and they kindly provided us with extra bottles of cold water. Such a thoughtful gesture!
We had a lovely hot meal in the restaurant that evening, and there was plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The night was warm, which was understandable given the heatwave, but the 12 pm check-out time allowed us to start the day at a relaxed pace.
Before leaving, we bought a few souvenirs and were even given a little extra gift to take with us. Not only is the staff exceptionally kind and helpful, but the rooms are also clean, spacious, and modern, with wonderfully comfortable beds.
A truly welcoming place that made an unexpected and stressful situation so much easier.

"Never again!"
The highlight of the meal? Fleas. All three of us got bitten. Nice to know someone enjoyed our visit.
The Premier Inn itself was exactly what you’d expect. The rooms were fine, the staff were pleasant enough, but the car park was about as welcoming as a game of automotive Tetris.
Overall, the location is brilliant. Everything else feels like an endurance event. I’d honestly rather sleep in the car next time—and at least there, I know the only thing biting me will be the cold.
