Cardiff North hotel

I was looked after by Sam in the restaurant this evening. Sam made a really special effort to ensure I was getting the right deal and value for my money which is really hugely important for all of us right now but also incredibly rare over recent times. She was so genuinely caring and I could see she was treating all the other diners with the same warmth. PREMIER INN - you need to make sure you show Sam some equally genuine appreciation and hold on to her as an employee!

I had a booking with premier inn pentwyn cardiff north for the 16th Sept I no longer required the room and because I booked a standard room cud not get a refund but was able to change the date and premier inn instead so I rang for my booking to be changed for 16th Nov to Queen street premier inn on the 14th Sept and was told they wud do it straight away for me brilliant I thought it is now the 25th Sept and have had no email or acknowledgement from either premiers so I rang today to make sure it had been done to my surprise it hadn't so I rang cardiff north to find out wot had happened n they told me it was put down as a no show no booking had been transferred and have no lost £95 n they say there is nothing they can do even tho I have proof of that phone call on the 14th Sept absolutely fuming n absolutely disgusted

Had vehicle broken into overnight. Police were attentive but assured me they may know the culprit. There was vehicle glass in other areas around the car park.

What on earth has gone wrong here? We've stayed here about three times for functions in Cardiff but I don't think we will again. Check-in was by machine which was ok and fortunately no problems as there was nobody around to help in any case. Breakfast was very disappointing with hot items being cold. Fortunately the next day it was better. On one occasion when we were going out, a guest was having a heated argument with a member of staff and a member of security. Then four policemen arrived in response to a call about youngsters getting in and causing problems. This was hugely off-putting and frankly worrying. One lift was out of order over the whole stay and on the second day the only other lift went out of action! I physically couldn't get up to our room which was on the 9th floor! Fortunately it was fixed later in the day but guests arriving couldn't carry their suitcases up to their rooms. The beds were comfortable but the whole place could do with a overhaul. We wouldn't return.

You seem to work on the principle of too few staff. Check in was a huge line that only moved when they found someone to help! Provision for people with food allergies was poor
