Cardiff City South hotel

Good location, a simple short walk to all attractions. Car park was essential. I also like the option of eating either breakfast or evening meal if I want to. Room was OK with a comfy bed and the shower was easy to use without having to fight to keep the temperature constant. Nice large TV and also kettle etc. No air conditioning but I had 2 fans in my room which was ideal. Noise from guests etc was fine, but there seemed to be noises coming from the staff areas during the night time: 1 am to 4 am which was not helpful. So I did speak to reception and my last night was better.

Your find this premier inn just outside of the Cardiff city centre. Its a wonderfully quite hotel that is well looked after. We stayed in a premier plus room, the room was beautiful presented and well cleaned. Little chocolates and bottled water left in the room. Nespresso coffee machine well looked after and more pods available on request. The room also had a kettle and a variety of Tea bags. The bathroom was well cleaned and the waterfall shower was amazing. A lovely soft bed to rest up on after long days out. The Hotel is super quiet so perfect, to avoid the hustle and busy town centre. The restaurant close by served up morning breakfast, cooked perfectly and lots available to eat. Overall value for money. Definitely would come back again in the future.

Overall a good experience. We found very good, clean accommodation, there was plenty of parking available and we were greeted by friendly staff. I would stay again.

At the hotel we had a lovely clean room, comfy bed, toiletries in the bathroom, TV, tea making facilities and hairdryer all provided and free parking was a bonus. Only downside was that breakfast was in The Brewers fare next door which was terrible. Hardly any food available (we went at 9am and service not finished until 10am! Poor quality food what was there and nothing looked fresh or healthy. Walls, tables and floor dirty. Avoid and go somewhere better for breakfast for sure but the hotel itself was good.

My wife and I had a 3 night stay here while visiting Cardiff. The hotel is in a good location about a 15 minute walk to the town centre or 6 quid in an Uber. The hotel was very nice with great staff. However, one member of staff, Leslie went above and beyond. We booked a standard room but didn’t bank on the exceptionally high temperatures. It was extremely hot , and my wife who suffers with asthma was really struggling after the second night. Around 5pm on our final night I explained the situation to Leslie who absolutely couldn’t do enough to help. After lots of time and effort she came up with a way that we were able to move to a room with air conditioning. We could not express our gratitude enough for her kindness and caring nature. We had a wonderful nights sleep. She also was the only member of staff who always ensured that there were ice cold bottles of water available for guests at reception during the searing temperatures. Leslie is an absolute credit to your business and whatever she is being paid is not enough!
