Cardiff City South hotel

Been to this premier inn before , great location , ideal for visiting Cardiff city centre and surrounding areas and the car parking is the best bonus , the rooms and building are getting a little tired and the WiFi was very poor . Premier inns used to be quite cheap to stay at but the prices now are more expensive . Overall not good value like they used to be . We would stay here again after checking prices for other accommodation providers in the area

We stayed at Premier Inn Cardiff South for two nights and had a very positive experience overall. Although we initially had some trouble with our booking (which wasn’t Premier Inn’s fault), Luke at the front desk was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly, polite, and incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. Luke went above and beyond to assist us and make sure everything was sorted, which made a huge difference to our stay. It’s clear he’s a hardworking and dedicated member of the team. Thanks to his efforts, our visit was smooth, comfortable, and pleasant. Highly recommend this location, especially with staff like Luke around—he truly made us feel welcome

I was excited to try my first Premier Plus room for the first time as i've only heard good things about them, upon entering this room i went into the bathroom where i found the suspicious stain on the floor. This stain looked extremely like it was a piss stain, in the picture added you can see this, this was not pleasant at all to look at during my stay. futhermore in the bathroom the toilet lid was half broken, meaning whenever i lifted the seat it would require me to re-sit the lid again. Final issue with the bathroom experience was when i had a shower the following morning, there was minimal amounts of bodywash left in the bottles, this made the shower become extremely time consuming. I informed staff of this and they did instantly resolve this which was amazing, however i later discovered the next day that it was barely topped up and was back to being empty after that following shower. After arriving i was given my Premium wifi codes, at the reception i was told that the premium wifi had been having problems and it should be resolved now, this was not true, after connecting within 10 minutes it was back offline. The premium wifi was unusable for 90% of the time i was in the room and resulted in me having to use my mobile data for the entire holiday. This was very annoying because this was part of the premium room experience and only wasted my time. The staff we're very nice and friendly and would help you instantly if needed The bed was amazing and was one of the few things that felt "premium" In conclusion i would advise to stay at the other premier inn's near this one or look elsewhere, it really needs some care and attention, I feel like i paid far too much for the quality i was given and i do feel betrayed by the advertising of the premimum plus room idea.

Wifi was terrible and we paid extra to have decent WiFi but it didn't work for most of our stay. We also paid extra to have ac but didn't really work and was boiling in the room and hotel in general. No lifts and had to walk so far just to get to our room. Hairdryer didn't work and nothing could be done. The water pressure is so terrible we couldn't even wash ourselves properly because the pressure was so bad.
