"Kindness goes a long way"
The hotel is perfectly located to all the restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is very clean and the room was perfect. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I want to say a special thank you to Albin who checked if I was ok after I came down in the middle of the night and sat in the reception area. I just needed some air and he left me for a bit and then just passed me and said 'Are you ok? Do you need anything?' He probably did not realise but in that moment, he helped me so much. His kindness was very appreciated - thank you. The breakfast was also amazing.
"Lovely hotel-and it's a Premier Inn!"
We've been to a few Premier Inns before and had a good night's sleep but this is on another level. It's a lovely hotel with a decent restaurant, pleasant surroundings and places to sit also has the good rooms and beds you expect. We had the dinner and breakfast deal. All of the staff were great and Madison was excellent, friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
"Very good average hotel experience"
This hotel was in a very convenient location near the train and bus station, and downtown within walking distance to Cardiff Castle. The nightlife in the town was going, but you couldn't hear any noise from within the room which was great! Very spacious room, comfy bed, and average bathroom. Good continental breakfast, although a little slow with dinner service if you're going later in the evening.
"very disappointed at how standards have fallen"
What has happened to this hotel? FILTHY BATHROOM!!! I had to ask THREE TIMES for the bath to be cleaned and the shower curtain to be changed as it stank of urine. The bath was filthy, with deep grime and brown stains, and several long strands of hair. After the third request, the second day, the receptionist came up, agreed the bath was filthy and cleaned it. But hairs were still stuck on stinky shower curtain. I cleaned the brown stain off the toilet seat myself on arrival. Absolutely disgusted. Did you lose your housekeeping manager? Staff all nodded and agreed that bath would be cleaned but that was only done after the third complaint. And even then bath only. Shaving whiskers remained around sink, floor remained filthy. I will never stay here agin.
"Simply red weekend"
First stay in this premier inn..ideal location for everything.. spacious clean ...staff were lovely.. especially Carola who seem to be everywhere bless her ...would definitely stay here again 😀
