"Breakfast experience from hell!!!!!"
Rooms Were Fine—Breakfast Service Disaster!!!
The accommodations themselves were acceptable, but our stay was ruined entirely by the breakfast service and, specifically, a staff member named Jacob.
We arrived as a party of six to have breakfast on our second day. When we asked for seating, Jacob flatly refused to accommodate us, claiming only four chairs were available. This wasn’t true. Rather than offer any professional solutions—seating guests at adjacent tables, providing additional chairs, or any other standard hospitality approach—he simply repeated “we only have four chairs” with no regard for finding a solution.
When we suggested two family members return to our rooms (trying to make his job easier), Jacob refused to allow even that arrangement. Meanwhile, our one-year-old child was becoming increasingly distressed by the hostile, unwelcoming atmosphere he had created. Jacob showed absolutely zero empathy for a crying child or any concern for basic customer service.
When our child’s mother retrieved a muffin to comfort our upset toddler, Jacob’s behaviour became overtly aggressive. He snapped at us, angrily accused us of contaminating the food, and declared he would have to “replace everything.” His aggression was completely disproportionate and directed at paying guests who were trying to cooperate.
This aggressive outburst forced us to leave immediately and check out early. To make matters worse, when we attempted to lodge a formal complaint with the manager (Gracie), she refused to provide Jacob’s name or any colleague information that would allow us to escalate this properly. She offered no explanation and gave us no way to formally report his conduct. This felt like deliberate obstruction of our ability to complain.
What should have been a family getaway became a stressful, upsetting experience we’ll never forget.
Do not expect quality service at breakfast. Do not expect Jacob to accommodate basic requests. Do not expect management to take complaints seriously. If you have young children or expect any level of hospitality, avoid this hotel entirely.
I cannot recommend staying here..

"Excellent stay"
Excellent stay at Premier Inn Wrexham. Check in staff didn't say my room number out in front of others waiting, which I really appreciated as a female sole traveller. Lovely breakfast. All staff were welcoming and helpful. Room very clean. Would recommend.

"Good air con / hard pull out bed mattress"
The air con in the room was much appreciated
The beds was comfortable apart from the pull out bed that one was to hard and we had to use a air bed to make it softer

"Great staff and a good location"
We stayed here for a long weekend with friends and although the actual hotel is a little tired around the edges the welcome and hospitality from the staff was excellent.
Breakfast is good with a broad selection for most people's tastes and the evening meals are good honest pub grub which suited us fine. Drinks were a little limited but pretty much something for everyone.
Location is good, a short walk to the excellent Turf pub and not too far from town, but be aware there is a nightly charge for your parking.
Overall a very enjoyable stay and we'll be coming back with all our friends
