"Best Premier Inn experience so far"
This was the best Premier Inn we’ve stayed in so far (out of many over the years). The staff were the friendliest, most helpful and most accommodating we’ve ever been served by, especially Leah, and a young man on our last evening. They seemed to take a genuine interest in our experience of the National Eisteddfod each day, and they spoke Welsh with us! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and well-supplied. The food in the restaurant was hot and delicious, both for breakfast and dinner. The hotel is ideally placed a couple of minutes’ walk from the train station, from where the shuttle buses left for the Maes each day, couldn’t have been more convenient. Just be aware that Room 3 has a communicating door with Room 1, so any conversation from there is easily heard, especially one loud one on the phone which woke us up too early at 6.35am and went on for about an hour!
    "Good service and friendly staff."
Premier Inn Wrexham football ground is a welcoming place to stay and value for money. The rooms are as described on their website and are very functional. I always have the perfect sleep night there and feel refreshed in the morning. The restaurant food menus is good value for money with vegetarian options. Car parking is charged for on arrival so it is an additional cost to budget for.
"Dreadful experience - maxed out hotel and dead aircon"
When the Eisteddfod came to town... The prices at this fairly basic Premier Inn shot up and the value for money cratered. The hotel was full and nothing seemed to have been done to increase the staffing, with the person on reception also doing all the front of house in the restaurant in the evening - at the same time. Worst of all, the air conditioning failed on the second floor and they were unable to get it fixed - I was paying something like £160 a night for a hot airless box (windows won't open). After three nights of "it'll be fixed tomorrow" I gave up, stayed one more night (which was terrible) and then cut my losses and headed elsewhere. I like premier inn so will give the brand another chance, but never this hotel again. Staff did what they could but they seemed to have so little discretion or control to make a difference.
    "Amazing staff"
5* for the staff alone, they are brilliant, so friendly and accommodating. We were there for work, 3 working weeks on nights, they opened the restaurant early so we could eat before our night shift. Nothing was to much trouble

The staff are exceptional especially Sarah and Leah, they have helped us at a very stressful time. We would certainly come here again.
