Rhyl Seafront hotel

Currently at Rhyl seafront hotel with tkurselfs. And having the worst stay I’ve had at a hotel paying the premium price I have paid From sleeping above some sort of generator that’s below my room. To the constant doors opening and banging. To the massive crack in the toilet seat that nearly caused me an injury to booking a double room and it being 2 single beds … And this is only halfway through my stay at this hotel.the mattress was absolutely disgusting. When I went to reception this morning the man behind the desk said he didn’t know is about these issues which I stated I had gone and expressed it to the lady standing next to him. Booked a double room got 2 single beds that were horrid.

This is our 5th visit to the hotel in so many years, and there is a reason we keep coming back each year. The hotel is fantastic value for money with very hard working staff and has an amazing location right by the beach and other family friendly locations like the cinema and the splash centre. Rooms are functional and have everything you need for a family stay away from home. We have give a special mention to Tracey and Keeley who provided us with amazing breakfast service each morning and made the stay more enjoyable and friendly encouraging us to return for future years.

Very poor customer service, Waited 20 min at the reception for some one to come and check us in. Bathroom cleanliness very poor.

Location was perfect the room was lovely minus the broken toilet seat, most of the staff were lovely especially Tracy who went out of her way to help my little boy who wasn't very well she was outstanding and made the whole stay better (thankyou again Tracy ) Shane about some other staff especially night staff had a miserable face when asked for a glass of ice for my little one who was poorly they looked at me like I was asking for there money after offering to pay for it they gave me 3 pieces of ice for him, the cleaner I asked for my toilet roll as staying a few nights and just got given a pack to put in my self 🤷 but then had another cleaner a different day and she was lovely and gave us everything we needed I felt safe there beds were comfy overall there was negatives but the certain few people made it a good experience and would come back again

The hotel has good beds and is located near the beach but this is also the only positive thing I can say about the place. The people at the front desk is never there. They are either on the backside of the hotel or hanging in the bar. They come as they please and the bell at the front desk definitely is not disturbing them in their game of hide and seek which they are playing with their customers. The room was clean when I checked in and at check in I let them know that I would like to have towels changed every day and trash emptied. When I came back after the first day, nothing was done. I went up to the reception where there were no one. After ringing the bell for 7-8 minutes the receptionist came and noted in the computer that I would like to have fresh towels and have the trash emptied every day. This has now repeated itself for 3 consecutive days! No cleaning - no fresh towels - nothing! Either they cannot read at this hotel or they just do not care about their customers. I will warn people from visiting, there has to be better options!
