Rhyl Seafront hotel

I was pleasantly surprised. After reading some reviews I was worried but as soon as we arrived those worries disappeared. Tiger on reception and Chris in the restaurant were fantastic. The room was lovely and clean. Food was wonderful and the new restaurant was great. Look forward to coming back later in the year.

Having seen a few reviews on here before booking and many other premier inn hotels close by fully booked, we took the chance with this place. We got interconnected rooms which was requested (good start) and the rooms were of usual Premier inn fit and finish. This is not one of the refurbished hotels but it’s not one of the oldest styles we’ve had either. The room and bathroom were cleaned very well and of course the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was usual Premier Inn however it does get busy and an extra staff member to relieve some pressure wouldn’t go a miss. The staff were all pleasant and professional. We like the location right in front of the promenade and close to a lot of food establishments. For what we paid and the location, can’t really complain about much! Yes the standard WiFi is rubbish and my phone reception in and around the hotel was even worse (EE), but we went to unwind from the world so not having a good internet connection turned out to be a blessing in disguise!

Second time visiting and the room this time wasn't as nice. There were dents in the ceiling and paint chipping around the light. Mould around the sealant in the bathroom. The hand wash and body wash bottles had seen better day, both were grubby and needed new bottles. The table under the TV was dusty along with the desk lamp. The bedding itself seemed ok though. There was no remote for the TV so we had to go down to reception twice as the first remote didn't work, I no not having a TV for one night wouldn't of killed us but when you have to have the TV to fall asleep it's a big deal when it doesn't work. Just felt the room needed some TLC. However staff were friendly and check in-out were easy enough. The hotel is in a great location onnthe seafront. We went to the queen's Market and had homemade pizza for tea which was lovely.

Well I have visited many premier inn establishments across the country and this has to be the best of all of them especially CAZ what a wonderful young lady I suffer a disability and this amazing human went above and beyond her job to make sure I was ok a true ambassador for the brand 10 out of 10
