"Helpful manager"
I want to highlight how flexible and helpful the hotel manager was, going over and beyond to accommodate. The premier inn hotels are always fit for purpose however this really stood out! Thank you!
"Not the usual standard"
We booked a plus room. The extras were great. However the bathroom stank of urine and the fixtures were loose and sub standard. No attempts to put anything right, so glad we only booked 2 nights.
"Typical Premier Inn Experience"
Typical Premier Inn experience, room was good for the night, Food at the Beefeater was very nice, however if booking the meal deal be aware that there are a number of additional charges that are not shown on the menu download when booking, including paying extra for a pint of Guinness..... there were the obvious extras like a small premium for a sirloin steak, as I would have expected in reality, but why not show these on the download menu, however it was only a couple of pounds. Overall satisfied with my one night stop over for business.
"Premier Plus"
The Premier Inn plus rooms are a definite upgrade from the standard rooms. There were comfortable chairs, coffee machine, mini fridge, walk in shower, and beautiful lighting. We booked a meal deal and the food was excellent. The only downside was noisy kids at breakfast. Thank you to the reception staff particularly Keith.
"Premium Inn need to short there life out."
When I went to get an evening meal I was informed that I could not have one as hadn’t booked and they were short of staff. I was not informed of this when I checked in or I would have booked a table. I feel that this is absolutely disgusting that when you stay at a hotel you cannot get an evening meal. I had to drive up the road to get a meal.

Hotel description

The 'silver city' of Aberdeen or the golden sands of Dundee? Why decide between the two, when Premier Inn Hotel Dundee West puts you in the best spot for both of them. Plenty of tourist attractions like Caird Hall are nearby too, and the beauty of the Lowlands is just on your doorstep. Spend the morning playing a round of golf at St Andrews or Carnoustie, then visit Discovery Point in Dundee to find a bite to eat. There's plenty to do in the afternoon - including the Rewind Festival at Scone Palace in August. And in the evening come back to hearty fare at our Beefeater restaurant and a lovely comfy bed.
