"Good stay for one night"
We had stayed at a PI in Carlisle on the previous night and had intended to visit Loch Earn on our journey to Aberdeen then stay here the next night however I had been unwell overnight and we ended up spending 7 hours in Carlisle hospital. We had booked a standard room and there was an offer of free breakfast. However we had a free upgrade to a Premier plus room all for £57 ! We had a quiet room at the back of the hotel over looking woodland. We ate at the adjoining Beefeater in the evening, we were told off by the waitress because we were waiting at the wrong place, a sign said to wait by the door meaning the main door, we were waiting by the door to the hotel. Breakfast was ok, not buffet and when mine came a couple of items I had asked for were missing. I would stay here again it was fine for what we wanted.

"Perfect"
The car park is accessible and well lit. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was excellent.

"Nice & friendly place to stay."
At first glance the place looks tired. Once inside a very friendly welcome, lovely smell in the corridors & a spotless room await. The bathroom was tiled differently to others I’ve visited and was spotless. A comfy bed as you’d expect gave me a great nights sleep. The Beefeater next door was staffed by friendly people & the food was decent.
All in all a good night..

"Dodgy info from staff"
Booked here for me and the kids to go to Bonfest, on arrival was told by the staff both bar and restaurant were closed due to a gas leak. So why still permit customers to check in? All lights etc were still on, no sign of gas engineers all night 🤔,so had to venture out for dinner which wasn't ideal as due to the location you need to drive somewhere so after that it was just back to sit in the room. When we got back Nightshift staff were on and they had no clue about a gas leak. 🤔🤔🤔Apart fi the porky pies hotel was clean etc, shame about the lack of amenities on offer during our stay.

"Go to the Central hotel instead, steer clear of this one."
We got an assistance room, as my wife is disabled. The distance to get to it wasn't too bad. However, we were right next to the laundry room and staff exit. Because of this, the door kept banging until late afternoon, which shook the bed. Then, they had the washing machines going until late into the night.
The heater was on some sort of thermostat, and it kept switching on and off in around 4-5am, lighting up the room.
To get into the restaurant, we had to go outside then back in because the entrance from the hotel required going go some stairs...not good for a disabled person.
And, finally, the restaurant - it's a Beefeater. Not much choice in food, and on our second night, we could not get into it for a meal until 8pm. Despite it being completely empty at 5:45pm.
