Dundee North hotel

Usual Premier Inn standard. Room on the warm side but knew there was no air conditioning and team had made every effort to cool room down with a fan. Plenty of free parking. Not an issue for us but no longer a restaurant next door for evening meal or breakfast but there is a McDonald’s opposite. Shower was fantastic- one of the older ones before water conservation became the norm so very powerful and hot. Some road noise at front of hotel as people use the McDonalds but slept well

We visited on 21st and arrived at 5. We went to use the toilet in the room on arriving to find there was no water to flush or wash our hands. We went over to the kfc opposite to use the taps. We spoke to staff and they said they are working on it and asked if I could give them 20 mins. We went for some food and then returned. Went straight to the room. No water! I asked them what we could do. They said they had put others into other premiers but now they are full. I asked for the answer for us. She told us we could either find ourselves somewhere else or have no water and go over to use public toilets if we need it. I tried to explain I needed a toilet and a shower and she said nothing they could do. I sat in the reception area and searched for nearest premier inns with space. The nearest was 45 minutes away but was willing to move there due to having no water. They were just in the process of transferring me over to other hotel when someone ran in from the back to say the water was back on. It was almost 8:30pm at this point. We were relieved as this meant we didn’t have to travel 45 minutes to somewhere else. And we could finally flush the toilet which we had used 3 hours before. They did mention that it had been off since about 3pm. So I wondered why they let so many people continue to travel there knowing the situation. I had been awake and travelling since 3am so as soon as I had showered and gone to bed I was out like a light.

A dated Premier Inn, not too far from an Asda. It is located next to a few outlets, a Cineworld and the Dundee Ice Rink. The staff member was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were a touch dated, they need a refresh. We didn’t have breakfast as the restaurant was closed for renovation - this was made clear on the Premier Inn website.

No water in room for over 2 hours and counting , was told it would be back on in a few minutes, no water for an after work shower and now I've had to go out to use the toilet as cant flush room toilet , just said it'll be on soon . Avoid this hotel

Convenient location, the rooms were very large and spacious. Close to some restaurants, and plenty of parking. Good value for money.
