Dundee Centre hotel

Not our first rodeo staying at Premier Inn's in Dundee, our usual locale is not what it was so needed a new choice. So with trepidation we booked this central Riverside location. Pleasntly surprised, any apprehension was soon dispelled, a quiet and secure location. Clean, tidy rooms and bathrooms with everything one could need or expect from a Premier Inn. Good value for money. We were very impressed with the staffing team at this location, nothing was to much trouble. The manager, Sean, is a warm, hospitable, accommodating host his team are all singing from the same work ethic sheet and understand their guests. Keep it up, your hard work is evident throughout the hotel. The written overview of the hotel in each room was a great touch, almost a full itinerary of any question, quibble or query anyone could have in staying at a Premier inn. We have complex needs but nothing was to much trouble. We will definitely book again as it was such a great stay. Would recommend anybody to try this Premier Inn, it certainly surprised us and surpassed our expectations. Thank you to all the staff we very much appreciate your hard work.

Do not stay in room one,its right next to the door that people enter to get to their rooms and it bangs shut waking you up every tine someone enters,also if they are noisy or even talking it can seem as if they are coming into your room,,hellish room to stay in,,,apart from that the location is good,,oh and having to pay for parking is a joke

Great experience. We found our room clean and quiet, staff helpful, loved being so close to the Firth of Tay and train station, and are glad we booked the breakfasts which had enough choice. I would have preferred a room with a window that opened rather than air conditioning, but on balance, wasn't off-putting.

This hotel has one of the nicest locations in Dundee, right on the waterfront and also a very short walk to the rail station, V+A museum, Discovery Point and the town centre. My river-facing room was quiet and comfortable with a lovely view. All the staff were friendly and hard-working, and the maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel were fine. Breakfasts were very good. I have 2 suggestions for improvement: 1. Have more than 1 member of staff on reception at peak times. I had to wait 20-30 minutes to check in when I arrived, as there was only 1 person on duty and the kiosks were out of order. 2. Improve the wi-fi (this is an issue with all Premier Inns). The free wi-fi is so slow and unreliable as to be almost unusable, and there was no obvious way of paying to get on to the ultimate wi-fi in this hotel, unless you purchase this at the time of booking.

Excellent location. Just be prepared for a very long wait at breakfast. All staff very courteous and helpful Reasonable price for city centre
