Dundee Centre hotel

This feels like a self service hotel experience but everything was clean, efficient, comfortable. It was easy and straightforward. Located close to shopping and restaurants and beautiful views of the Tay. Second time staying here and I’d be happy to stay again.

The rooms were clean, great location and comfortable but too many small cutbacks in the rooms. We couldn't have dinner both nights 1st night no chefs, restaurant was closed 2nd night we had to have a meal deal before we could eat but as we were leaving early we didn't want breakfast therefore we couldn't get served. Very poor on the dining front also not much choice of beers. Very disappointed with our stay and becoming a very expensive budget hotel.

Room was fine but very limited bar hours and no food available. We would not have stayed if we had been informed. We booked so we could eat prior to going to the theatre and to be able to get a drink after. We could do neither. We would have cancelled had we known beforehand.

We stayed at the premier inn Dundee which we have stayed at before As my partner of 30 odd years has MS it ideal for us But because of the change made by premier in bosses It has made it impossible for the staff at the premier inn Dundee to full deliver the standard of service they would like to customers All the staff we met where fantastic and did there utmost for us.It make you think what are the bosses of premier inn doing with the profits

I don't think our stay is reflective of Premier Inns in general as we have had many acceptable visits to various locations in the past and do also have upcoming bookings in other cities, but would strongly suggest to any reader not to book this hotel in the immediate future. There seems to be some changes taking place in this location including men in white hazmat suits wandering around the whole hotel with containers of insect killer or strong disinfectant. The whole stay was very poor and I would have liked some explanation as to why we weren't advised in advance there was no Beefeater dining at all and no bar service of any kind; only the self service breakfast (which was very poor). The bar/ dining area was locked at all times other than breakfast with a sign on the door stating Beefeater no more and misleading availability of bar opening time ... as it wasn't; at any point we were in the hotel. Our room seemed to have been missed by the henry hoover including the comfy seat covered in dust. Why don't Premier provide a drinking glass of any kind in the toilet? The very young staff team we did see seemed leaderless and struggling to cope with discontented customers and perhaps that was the real issue at Dundee Centre Premier Inn. I might have hung around to make a formal complaint but to many people at the reception desk already!!!
