Dundee Centre hotel

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 My wife, our toddler, infant, and I recently stayed at Premier Inn for 5 nights, and we had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Travelling with young children can sometimes be challenging, but the warm welcome, excellent service, and family-friendly atmosphere made our stay comfortable and enjoyable throughout. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing everything we needed for a relaxing family stay. The breakfast and dinner at Beefeater were exceptional every day. The food was consistently fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety of choices for both adults and children. Every meal was something we looked forward to. A very special thank you to Daniel, the Manager on Duty, and Sara for their outstanding hospitality, professionalism, and genuine care. Their attention to detail and friendly approach made us feel truly welcome. We are also extremely grateful to the entire Beefeater team, who looked after us so well throughout our stay. Their excellent customer service and dedication to ensuring guests have a great experience were evident every day. Thank you all for making our family feel at home and for creating such wonderful memories for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Premier Inn Dundee Riverside and Beefeater to families, couples, and anyone looking for comfortable accommodation, great food, and exceptional hospitality. We look forward to returning soon!

The room was very stuffy and the cleaners had sprayed air freshener to try to cover this up but it just made it worse. I soon realised the window didn't open and there was no way to get fresh air into the room. Even on high fan level I couldn't even get the air conditioning to even circulate air within the room and the minimum was set to 19degrees which was considerably warmer than outside.

A lovely premier inn wonderfully positioned for my trip to discover Dundee. I paid for a sea view, which I was glad for after my days walking and discovering the City, as I could relax whilst really enjoying the surroundings. It is so close to the train station, the Discovery Centre, the V&A and the walks along the river. As well as getting everything you expect from a Premier Inn.

Room was cold had to ask reception to put the heat on the next morning not a good night's sleep. With regards to cleanliness this leaves a lot to be desired. Air con vent full of dust, carpets badly stained and thick with dust at the skirting boards, pedal bin in the bathroom rusty a nd surrounded by thick dust. Not a good stay!!!!

Another two night stay, with a full breakfast at no additional cost deal. Yet again the cost of parking has been increased. Staff are most helpful and obliging. Sad to learn that Whitbread are shutting all their Beefeater and Brewers Fayre restaurants throughout Britain in order release space for more bedroom accommodation that isTHE big earner. Felt sorry for the young Dundee staff who are being made redundant in September. If in-house catering is significantly reduced we'll go elsewhere in future.
