Greenock hotel

Spent 2 weeks here - overall, the hotel is OK. Room is somewhat clean, although there were cobwebs in the bathroom. The walls are PAPER thin and if you’re on the ground floor, you can hear every foot step from the room above My main issue was the restaurant attached to the hotel. When the Eastern European staff member (I don’t know his name) and the female staff member from the midlands are working, the service is perfect. When the two young blonde girls were working, my food order was wrong almost every time. On one of the nights my food came frozen. they also spend most of their time chatting at the bar. The atmosphere is poor. No music or anything in the restaurant. The breakfast is nice though. WiFi is shockingly bad, even the premium one which is £6 per 24 hours. And the phone signal is 2 bars of 4g at all times. I would stay again but only if the place was updated a bit

This is my second visit to this hotel. The staff are friendly, the room is very clean. The breakfast and evening meal were very good quality. Overall very good value for money.

I truly can't say enough about the staff at this hotel. We ended up there not because we'd planned to, but due to a fluke incident that immobilised my husband's back. Luckily for us, the Premier Inn in Greenock were able to accommodate us for one night, but the next day, my husband still couldn't move. Lynn on the desk was very kind and helped us in several ways, working hard to get us into a room for a second night. Kyle too, was very kind, and the housekeeping staff as well. As with other Premier Inns, this one could do with a refurbishment, but they delivered on the key things...a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom. It is very close to a McDonalds and a Starbucks. The view of the firth was beautiful, too. Thank you for everything.

Kyle & Natalia went above & beyond to make our stay wonderful. John has muscular dystrophy & struggles to walk at times. Because John's family are here & we will be back. We have been treated like special people & Kyle remembered us from the last time we were here. That service is phenomenal to me. I have actually cried so much, it means so much x

We have stayed here on numerous occasions throughout the past 15 or so years. It has gone downhill and is in serious need of renovation. It looks awful from outside. I have given it two stars because the staff are all lovely and friendly and the food in the restaurant is reasonably good. The place needs a total refurbishment and is overpriced for what it offers however. The views are beautiful of the harbour so hopefully the company will invest and bring this place back up to its previously great standard.
