Glasgow Stepps (M80, J3) hotel

I just wanted to take time to comment on my stay at this Premier Inn at Stepps. I can’t thank the team enough for going above and beyond to make my stay here more comfortable. Reception staff were very welcoming, and very informative. Once inside the room it struck me how clean the room was and smelled lovely. The bed was also very comfortable which allowed me to have a great nights sleep in preparation for my meeting early the next morning. Overall a very pleasant stay and on me leaving the hotel I was again taken aback by how polite the reception staff were. Will definitely be booking here again. B. Knight

The price was more than I would normally pay for a room only but I was meeting a good friend. The room was comfortable and spacious. On arrival, the desk clerk was busy typing and did not acknowledge my arrival. I entered my registration on the console and then waited to be checked in. After waiting some time, I asked the clerk how to check in and was directed to the console. I couldn't work it because it just kept looping to ask for my car reg. I asked to be checked in personally and it was only at that point when the clerk was helpful. It was not a good first impression. I used the adjoining restaurant which was reasonably priced and the food was tasty. During the night, the room and bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped and spacious. There was noise coming through from creeking floorboards above. Excepting the initial reception, staff were friendly.

The hotel room we had was on the 2nd floor.It was about 24 degrees on the day we arrived.The temperature in the room varied between 28 and 30 degrees.We couldn't sleep and I developed a migraine due to the heat in the room.There was a fan provided by the hotel but it didn't make much difference.I don't understand how any hotel doesn't have air conditioning with hiw warm the summers are now.We checked out a day early due to how hot the room was.Not happy at all and have asked for a refund.

Checking in to find out there's no refrigerator in the room, the staff at reception was awkward, Find it difficult to welcome us! As if that is not enough, throughout our stays for 3 nights, nobody clean our rooms, first excuse is we are to tell the receptionist before noon, on the evening of 2nd night, I told the receptionist who promised to handover that to the morning shift, only the morning shift to tell us the next nobody tells her anything! On the 2nd night, there was a fire alarm incident, till this moment, no staff explained anything, only to get everybody out of the room stranded until fire service came and confirm it is save to go back in. Nothing said to any guests. No water fountain for hydration, even the jog at entrance runs out of water.
