Glasgow (Paisley) hotel

The soundproofing on the rooms is terrible to the point we could hear every footsteps of the people above us when they were pacing their room for an hour at 3am. That's not what actually woke us though (just kept us awake!). The culprit was the screaming of the hot water pipes when upstairs were clearly using their shower. In addition, the hotel could not provide the prepaid breakfast due to their restaurant being closed for renovations. I have yet to receive a refund for this.

Awful experience! Rude staff, obviously disgruntled that we interrupted them eating a large curry at the reception desk when we wanted to check in. Room smelt strong if disinfectant, stains all over carpet & upholstery. Basic, cold, dirty, rusty radiator on wall. Heating not working, so cold all night. You literally don’t want to get changed in this room let alone sleep in it. DO NOT STAY HERE! UTTERLY APPALLING 😡

Stafg are friendly professional and will go an extra mile for you. I will book again if i come back to paisley premier inn.

Good welcome. Friendly reception team. Bathroom was fairly disgusting. Not cleaned thoroughly. Mould on bath tap. Restaurant was closed so complimentary pastries and continental breakfast offered which had run out and no staff around to talk to or replenish. All very tired.

Location is convient from the airport but I think that about all the hotel has going for it. Having stayed here for 4 years running each room is of the same standard, which is unfortuently poor. I must say the staff are friendly and helpful but it seems they are given very limited resources. The restaurant makeover is dragging its feet so no cooked breakfast avalable and the free breakfast provided is really a shambles, no fruit as the half marathon runnenrs had eaten it all the day before, coffee machiene was filthy, pastries very poor. I was unfortunate enough to stay on the bed made up from the sofa which was so uncomfortable I am still feeling the effect nearly a week after getting home. Overall, just needs a good clean and a good once over of each room, and maybe some new matresses etc
