No breakfast, Beefeater is closed, but room smell amazing, very clean, good location. I can't wait when the pub will be open.

"Absolutely SHOCKING!!! Customer service as a premier inn regular"
Booked to stay here tonight 27/02/26
As a regular premier inn customer either with my wife having stayed in Newton Mearns last night or with my wife and six years old Autistic grandson.
We have stayed in many premier inns without issue.
On arrival around 17.00 tonight we were met by the most obnoxious ignorant individual i have ever met employed by premier inn.
as my grandson is Autistic he has a fascination with labels logos and leaflets especially premier inn ones.
He as politely as could be imagined asked the lady
"Please may i have a luggage tag"
The lady immediately rolled her eyes and made a face ignoring my grandson.
I then said
"Sorry he is Autistic and asking for a luggage tag please"
She then responded in the most arogant condascending manner rather loudly
"i know ave not got any"
As i said in a horrible mannerism
We were then allocated room 14 on the ground floor.
On entering the room we found it to be extremely tired stains and marks on the wall table chipped on the surface etc.
We then got my grandson changed and went out for around one and a half hours on returning to the hotel with a chinese meal as we walked along the corridor my wife noticed the female member of staff following behind.
As we reached our room but not entering it yet the female member of staff roared at us
"Dont smoke in the room"
My wife informed the lady neither her or myself smoked.
She then shouted rather loudly still in the corridor
"What is wrong with you,s people Dont smoke in the room"
At this point we had not entered the room still in the corridor.
My wife again repeated none of us smoke and again the lady shouted at us again
"Dont smoke in the room or ill call the police"
At this point realising there was no reasoning with this individual my wife asked to speak to the manager.
She replied
"Never mind the manager ill call the police"
We then went into our room and proceeded to give my grandson his dinner but unfortunately my grandson went into an Autistic meltdown and was so upset we had to leave the hotel and take him home.
Purely down to one horrible memeber of staff with an absolutely apalling attitude and manner.
I must add at all the premier inns i have stayed with my grandson the staff have been above and beyond and very accomodating for my grandson needs and made it a truly wonderful experince for him.
I have messaged premier inn all the details requesting a refund as i mentioned we had to leave at 20.35 due to this individual and the upset she single handedly caused my grandson.
I would also be more than willing to allow premier inn access to my families medical records to prove we are and never have been smokers.
Myself and my wife are both senior managers in our employment and agreed we have never met an individual with such a bad attitude.
Unfortunately this will be the last time premier inn or whitbread will see any of my hard earned cash.
Once again i must state we have stayed in multiple premier inns in scotland england and ireland and found the staff to be absolutely fantastic.
I would sincereley like to think Whitbread/Premier inn dont train their staff to behave in this manner towards people with disabilities as aforementioned this individual was well aware my grandson was Autistic as i told her on arrival when he asked for the luggage tag.
I also have video footage of how we left the room in case of further fabricated allegations.

"defo we will be back"
Fantastic team, You can't ask for more. Ewelina organised a wonderful stay for us, reserved a table for dinner, arranged a taxi, extra pillows, and unlimited coffee and tea.

"Poor"
Not a great experience , shower head missing radiator knocked all night and floor creeked constantly everytime somone moved.

"Premier Inn Newhouse"
Janice and Abbi looked after my mother whose 77 and has dementia and alzheimer's and my younger sister who has learning disabilities and cannot adapt to change and does not speak to strangers. Janice and Abbi were superb, friendly, professional and had amazing warm personalities, made my mom and sister so welcoming. After our 17 days of stay my sister did not want to leave Janice and Abbi, these two ladies are a credit to Premier Inn and in my opinion they both should be the managers of Premier Inn in Newhouse. These two ladies are amazing and these ladies made the stay worth while. There's a saying home is where the heart is. and hotel is where the heart is. Janice and Abbi deserve 12 out of 10. Both ladies are Manager candidate for the Premier Inn in Newhouse. Without them both our stay there would had been boring and not so accommodating and looking forward to the rest of the day. Janice and Abbi would be missed. Also if I win the lottery I would by a hotel and make sure Janice and Abbi were the Managers. So please make sure these amazing ladies are looked after. They don't have the fake superficial smiles. Beautiful hearted souls they are. They should be given a star and an amazing salary upgrade and bonuses. Thankyou Janice and Abbi. We are adopting you both. The rest of the staff were friendly and professional. But you take to where ever your heart takes too.
