"Very poor stay"
I have stayed at PI often, never really had an issue until now.
For £124 for one night I expect at least a clean room.
There was rubbish in the public areas - reception and corridors.
My room was not great.
2 towels, one with a hole in the other with blood on. Fan in the room was thick with dust. Crack up the wall with no attempt to repaint it. Light in the room was off

"Avoid"
Worst hotel I have stayed in, would avoid. When entered room it smelt like mould and damp, bedding was damp and when escalated to reception staff they were very unhelpful. Did not offer to change bedding, did not offer alternative room. Will never stay again

Is there a secure bike lockup area at the hotel?

"West Highland Way stay."
This was a good stay to stage our WHW hike. Although the hotel was undergoing improvements this did not impact us and our two night stay before and after the WHW. Karen S. Checked us in and out and was conversational and made us feel welcomed.
We would recommend this TL to anyone needing a place to launch our WHW hike.

"Poor management and so many lies by customer service"
Very disappointing stay and poor management.
We were given a lower-ground-floor room that was dirty, noisy and in desperate need of a deep clean. There was dust, dirt, spiders and cobwebs throughout the room. We were also only provided with one towel on arrival and had to request additional towels. Even then, some of the towels provided had holes in them, which is simply unacceptable.
The room was particularly unpleasant because people were smoking directly outside our window, meaning we couldn't keep it open for fresh air due to the smoke and noise.
We raised our concerns with two members of staff during our stay, Grant and Antonia. Rather than resolving the issues, they advised us to contact Customer Services after our stay and gave us a business card with the relevant contact details.
What is most disappointing is that Customer Services have since claimed they cannot offer a partial refund because we supposedly didn't raise our concerns with the hotel during our stay. This is simply not true. We did raise the issues with staff and followed the advice we were given by contacting Customer Services afterwards.
Overall, the cleanliness, communication and customer service were well below the standard we expected. We left feeling extremely disappointed and would not recommend staying here.
